Sharon Stone blames US President George W Bush for the absence of a lesbian kissing scene in Catwoman - because of the current conservative climate in America.

Sharon Stone blames US President George W Bush for the absence of a lesbian kissing scene in Catwoman - because of the current conservative climate in America.

Basic Instinct star Stone, 46, was keen to enjoy an intimate moment with Oscar-winning co-star Halle Berry, but believes a puritanical streak running through the country put an end to any potential girl-on-girl action.

Stone says: "Halle's so beautiful and I wanted to kiss her. I said, 'How can you have us in the movie and not have us kiss? That's such a waste.'

"That's what you get for having George Bush as president."

...a puritanical streak running through the country..

&&

Someone please tell me where it is running so that I might catch a glimpse of it.

Haha.. that is hilarious!

Sharon is probably on drugs again. I know there's no way i'd take my family to see a movie with deviants kissing and it has nothing to do with our president.

Miss Berry should thank President Bush. Who'd want to be kissed by a old skank? (sorry 46 ain't middle aged. How many people make it to 92?)

If she wanted to Kiss Halle Berry she could have. Hollywood will make films the way they want to regardless of Bush. I suspect the reason was that she wanted that in the movie and Halle Berry didn't.

Isn't that a picture of Sherilyn Fenn? Not that a gratuitous photo of Fenn isn't always welcome.

Notice how Miss Stone doesn't acknowledge whether Halle Berry was even willing to consent to kissing her (on or off screen).

Phony controversy just so she can blame the Republican President for her turkey movie tanking.

If by some stretch of reality our President is responsible for the infusion of good taste in filmdom we should all be hoopin' and hollarin' his praises!

I just love how this piece is written as if it's bad news that we all can relate to. The subject is never given the benefit of the fact is could be a good and positive thing happening.

Unless the comic book movie is geared to adults, then it should be suitable for kids,...

**

From what I have seen in the trailers on tv, I would not consider Catwoman suitable for children.

This woman fancies herself one of the smartest people in Hollywood. Guess that's why she's in such successful pictures, like, uh, well, you know.

You nailed this.

If you want to see what the elite left wingers want to turn America into, just look at the personal lives of the elite Follywood trash.

If all GW ever did was prevent us being treated to such a scene, I would be grateful.

Sharon needs to come to terms with the idea that 50-something sexpots are not appealing.

If she wants to blame Bush over some movie decision, we should all acknowledge that the movie Fahrenheit 9/11 would never have been made, let alone hyped, if a Democrat had been President during that tragedy.

"Methinks she has the concepts bass ackwards. The country isn't conservative because Bush is president, Bush is president because the country is conservative."

Then, when we Mondale/Dukakakak the Franchurian Candidate, al Queery, this November, that message will even be clearer to the seriously wounded Rat party.
