They claim nationalism/patriotism only to trick the sheeple into accepting socialism.

Nazis/Fascists were/are NOT right wing, just a few rhetorical phrases separated them from the communists.

I agree. There weren't any more rhetorically nationalistic than the Soviets during WWII.

You go down the line of Nazi policies and ask if they conform more to classic Dem policies, or Rep. Where it comes to big spending, Bush does need something of a 'tude adjustment. Hopefully, we'll see that after his re-election. But if you compare the policies, even the methods and rhetoric, of the Third Reich, one might find not just generic liberalism, but Democrat liberalism.

Your statement is actually obvious when you recognize that NAZI was short for "National Socialist Party (well, in German, of course).

Also those who dispute this (yes, you lurkers) a quick read of Hitler's 25 points (try google: twenty five points + Hitler), shows his policies to be completely in line with Democratic wet dreams of today.
