The mainstream media and their poster-child, George W. Bush, would have us believe that only "the fringe" believe that Bush is an illegitimate President. They present us as "the fringe" in order to marginalize us and attempt to silence us. Rather than arguing with this characterization, we have chosen to embrace it proudly.
When a piece of fabric - or a government - begins to unravel, you get fringe. When it unravels completely, you're left with nothing but fringe.
We the People are "the Fringe". We're NOT going to go away, and we're NOT going to shut up.
Get used to us.
TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: wackos
Bush is a poster-child for the mainstream media--LOL!

These people are not going to go away, or shut up. But they are also not going to be relevant. When they come up against something serious, like the bulldozer that flattened Rachel What's-her-name, then they'll be gone.
In the meantime, we just have to be certain that a great big metaphysical bulldozer runs over them on 2 November, 2004.

I'm not so sure: usually they start recruiting among the brain-dead for volunteers to stand in front of the 'dozers...then call the media when one of the newbies is about to get flattened.

This prat probably has a cheque from George Soros and is going to be interviewed on NPR next week. He hasn't a bloody clue what it's like to be on a fringe. Try being a
conservative Goth in north London and see what reaction you get.
Liberal establishment swine. Conservatives are the rebels - we're the ones calling for the state to be rolled backwards.

One of these fringe-folk (a forty-year-old woman) quotes Kennedy, "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."
Is that a threat? Because if it is...we're already waiting for you! At least we know that we are definitely NOT the ones who will be INITIATING violence of any sort!

Nah, it's just marxist claptrap. I wouldn't get too worked up about it...

I find the idea of a left-wing gun-hater treatening to start a violent revolution against an armed government (and an armed right-wing populace) extremely humorous.
"Okay, maybe we don't have guns, but we can throw some of our free government cheese at you!!!"

I live in Florida, and I know anyone that swallowed the lie "Gore won" is just decieved.
People were MAD over the heck the democrats put us through, and that is why in my county Republicans won EVERY SINGLE race in 2002. It was revenge.
Everyone here "Punched" their vote cards in 2000, and I couldn't find one person that felt they could have left a dimpled chad. It's just impossible.
