IMHO: These men are not political. They are simply witnesses to an important act--important actions. They are brave enough to stand forward when the country needs them...again.
Attacking them is like attacking a rape victim because she comes forward.

And would you feel this way if the GOP sent out dossiers on Kerry's "Band of Brothers", with their medical, psychiatric, debt and divorce records?
My point is that if the Swifties are beyond having their motives questioned, are Kerry's "Brothers" also off-limits to investigation?
