Is this a primary? Good luck. We need someone to counter Joe "bubba strap on a 9mm" Schwarz.

Boehlert is spending a ton of money. He has a huge war-chest.
During the last primary he was helped by the powers that be in that they gerrymandered Boehlerts district because the people in Madison County are totally against him because (it has something to do with the Oneida Indians land claim and casino.)
Also, Boehlert had people in vans all over the district taking people to the polls.
Right now Boehlert is running commercials about how patriotic he and how much he is for the troops.
Walruth does not have even one sign up yet. Even so Walruth almost beat Boehlert last time, so you never know.

Yes, Boehlert's ads state how he is arm and arm with President Bush on the War on Terror. If you did not know better, from the ads you would swear he is the second coming of Jesse Helms.

New York's 24th district was narrowly carried by Al Gore in 2000.
However, in 2002, it looks like the Democrats didn't even bother to run anyone against Boehlert, who garnered 108 thousand votes to the nearest runner-up who got 33 thousand from the Conservative Party.
With a lifetime ACU rating of 39%, this puts him to the left of Arlen Spechter.

Walrath is running in the Republican Party primary against the RINO Boehlert. He nearly beat him in the 2002 primary wvwn though he was outspent over 10 to 1.
Walrath is also running in the Conservative Party primary, and will almost certainly win the nomination (Boehlert won't even try to run as a Conservative, since it would ignite a gag reflex), so Walrath will be in the general election ballot no matter what. God willing, Walrath will win the primary, which would allow him to cruise to reelection in one of the most Republican districts in Upstate New York.

Yes, but the 24th is McHugh's CD. Boehlert's is the 23rd CD, carried by George W. Bush by several points even though he got only like 35% in the state as a whole.

Boehlert is spending a ton of money. He has a huge war-chest. A warchest loaded with Indian Gaming money I might add. The creep had the chutzpah to use taxpayer funds to produce and mail 3 separate mass mailings too. The flyers even had printed on them that they were taxpayer funded. His cover was that they were *informational updates*. Total crap.
It's funny that I never received any previous *updates* from Herr Boehlert. Especially the time he voted against the Balanced Budget Amendment.

Boehlert has been in the Congress for 24 years. In that time he has done zero for the area or anything else. Remember when he voted TO impeach Clinton, then he sent the letter to the Senate saying DON'T impeach Clinton.
Last year he finally voted for the ban on partial birth abortion. He has consistently voted FOR partial birth abortion. He must have realized it was going to be banned anyway so he jumped on board. I know a woman who has a letter from Boehlert, when he was first running, where he said that he was pro-life. He is 100% pro abortion.

And Bush will endorse the RINO just like he did with Specter.

He couldn't vote in Pennsylvania either but he endorsed Specter over Toomey. He claims it was incumbency thing. So if that's his policy, he'll endorse the RINO over the conservative...again.

I guess maybe so. I'm going to pray he does like an ump that makes a bad call and then evens it up a little afterwards. Make-up.
The candidate President Bush endorses still has to win the election. Key to that is winning the primary. Conservatives can help push Dr. Walrath to that win. He already has our line so he is on the ballot no matter what. Now it is up to the rank and file GOP. What you do when answering to your own convictions will determine who wins this election. Nothing else. Let's not parse words here. If the NY State GOP members sell out to a RINO again, then what can I say except you get what you deserve.
