Its called "Eye of the Storm" by
Starstone Software.
First one I ever had was called "Storm" made by a guy in Houston. Unfortunately it is so old that it suffers from a bug known Y2K.

We just had
ANOTHER Outer Banks (NC) vacation ruined by Hurricane Alex last week.

We are 4+ saturated here. Has been raining for weeks. Rivers have been at flood stage with flood watches/warnings for the past week.
Just finshed checking the solar batteries.

Latest RECON indicates a closed wall on Bonnie, but still only tropical storm force winds.

I have dumped my overflowing rain gauge 3 times since Saturday already. My back yard is half under water - still.
So much for global warming.

"well, it looks like we have a little action headed into the neighborhood."I heard on the radio today that there is a cold front (ahem) on the way that should push it away from my area.

Don't sweat it. I'm in Tampa too.
The thing about hurricanes is that they don't just pop up. You have plenty of warning.
And don't believe the hype. The local news makes everything a crisis.

Our lake is up to peak level. The inflow structure is working more efficiently than the outflow structure!
The good news is that I built a boardwalk through the cypress trees last winter. Now I can still walk out there and catch fish.

I have dumped my overflowing rain gauge 3 times since Saturday already. My back yard is half under water - still. Stop that crap!!!! I got me a new molecule that will freeze water instantly. You can turn your backyard into an ice skating rink. You'll make a ton!!!
I want fifteen percent.

That would be great! I would love to watch the corral snakes and vermin frozen in time!

there is a cold front (ahem) on the way that should push it away from my area. The last "cold front" that passed through the other day, along with gobs more rain, has cooled us down considerably.
My air conditioner actually turns off several times per day lately. My electric bill will be a welcome break.
The outflow of TD3 is impressive. Let's hope that Bonnie fizzles out posthaste.

Just put a rental deposit on a Gulf Front Condo this morning. Sept 7th for a week. We do this every year, maybe this year we won't get so lucky? Booo-hooooo, sniff.

I feel for you, I really do.
Last Wednesday one of the dads at soccer camp commented that we had had 20 inches of rain in the previous 10 days.......we had another 6 or so by Thursday night. Knock on wood there hasn't been any since.

Did they say where it's going? Could use a little bit more rain up inland from you!
To: Gabz
Thanks--now is the time to make sure laundry is done, batteries are working in the flashlights, etc. Fortunately, was just stocking up on cat supplies this afternoon when they announced Bonnie's name.
We were spoiled last year with nary a tropical threat at all over here.
