Those men turned out to be NBC employees.
The men from NBC's New York office came to Fostaire Helicopters. Their goal, they say, was to put helicopter security to the test.
The men intentionally acted suspiciously. They offered to pay in cash and they carried weapons in their bags.
Employees at Fostaire quickly suspected something was wrong and called the authorities.
Police and the FBI took the men into custody where they eventually revealed they were journalists. Representatives from the Transportation Security Administration say the employees at Fostaire acted admirably under extremely difficult circumstances.
So, they're in jail now, right?
Do we really need citizens or media taking on this kind of thing themselves? I hope all costs (of taxpayer money) associated with this incident are charged back to NBC.
Prosecute them... and the scum who sent them.

Can journalists break the law with impunity to "get" a story, or are they essentially enemy spies that will broadcast their findings to the public with plausible deniability of directly helping enemies of the United States? Inquiring minds want to know.
I happen to know that NBC is a front organization for the enemies of America. (I see it on their nightly propaganda show every night.)
I say send 'em to Gitmo and we'll get around to figuring out what they were doing later.
They need to stay in jail. Who is to say they really didn't intend harm? They're "journalists" after all, and everyone knows "journalists" are terrorist supporters. Throw them in jail and keep them there.
Hopefully with no bail until the judge hears their case MONDAY. In a communal cell with a bunch of black and Mexican gang-bangers:)
I heard Al Jezeera is currently hiring terrorist/reporters.

I say hang all involved after they're sued for every cent they have.
Guess they found that security wasn't lacking after all.
I wonder if NBC will continue to pay them while they sit in Levenworth?
