You can if you wish, contract with a beef producer & buy a grass fed animal that has never been fed chemicals of any sort. The whole animal cut to your specifications, wrapped & frozen for your own freezer. We did this for years, not for any anti-chemical reasons, but for convenience & price.

Where there's a will there's a way. Personaly I would not survive without the protein from meat.
The only fact I know is that I am very cautious about the meat I eat to subsidize a plant based diet.
