Hussein Osama has already admitted the autobiography contains lies. The inferrence is that the lies concerned his drug use.
One could conclude that Barabas Hussein Osama's life story has been one continuous prevarication.

Who says the dad skipped out? Hussein himself? Osama admits his autobiography contains falsehoods.
His mother? I think she passed.
His dad? I think he passed?
His grandparents? I don't think anyone has heard a word from them.
His relatives from Africa? It appears Hussein is content to leave them there in obscure poverty for PR purposes
