Wait for the details--maybe Sadr settled for a lesser Cabinet position, like Secretary of Agriculture.

"Shock and awe" my a#@!
What a waste of time and effort.
The only good terrorist is a dead terrorist.
Remember! We had the chance to rid the world of this puss-bag, and we blew it.
This will come back to haunt us....believe me!
Our resolve is weakened, our troops are being harmed...and for what??
This is so absolutely depressing that I can hardly stand it.

The only condition that will matter is when he assumes room temperature. All others are delays and diversions.

What, again? Haven't we heard this before? He's looking more like Yassir Arafat all the time!

al-Sadr's truces/ceasefires don't last as long as Arafat's do.
Only when he thinks he has lost will he really 'cease'. Until then, he will continue to use these truces to re-arm and re-organize his militia.

(After 20 years in the Senate, all Kerry has to run on is 4 months of service in Viet Nam.)

al Sadr Accepts Cease Fire ConditionsAGAIN?
Why? So he can rearm & reman? Ya see a pattern here?
Enough of this crap....kill this POS once & for all.

This is starting to look like the way we've forced Israel to treat Arafat. He'll live to cause trouble again, and we'll likely regret it.

Hasn't al Sadr been charged with murder? Shouldn't he be taken in to custody for trial?
