Uh, not...I see you don't have the gift of association.

The towers were american, though built by the Japanese engineers, they were of course on AMERICAN SOIL. So, hence american

They were brought down by, Islamic extremists.

The concentration camps, though built by nazis,ran by nazis, but they are of course now on Polish land. As a Generalization, not ownership, they are polish by virtue.

In relation to the towers, you are saying that the towers are the murderers....

Am I to understand that, or did you word it incorrectly?

No, no!
If I understood you properly You meant, that if Nazi camps were built and operated by Nazi Germans, but on Polish soil, so they can be considered as Polish ones.
In my opinion that would mean, that also all the horrible things that happened within those camp can be considered like that.
And some less historically educated people - if they read about "Polish death camps" - may automaticaly think - "Ooh, those evil Poles, that murdered the Jews!" (maybe with some slight German help - sarcasm).
So - the WW2 death camps were as much "Polish" as September 11 was "American" (because happened on American soil).
