Not our problem, Israel will take them out (Iranian nukes), before Washington can run the analysis or develop a backbone to act. We just better be ready for the fallout.
The Pentagon is in analysis-paralysis mode these days. Win or negotiate, Najaf/Fallujia too many decisions, too little time.
sarcasm off

Different militaries organize differently.

A division can range from 6,000 to 20,000 men.

I don't know how large the Iranian divisions are, but they have zero capability as combat formations vs. the US.

Yes! Good ol' Wing Attack Plan R.

Always up for a "Strangelove" reference. Good call.

It is a historical fact that the Nazi's were Socialist's and that the Muslums supported the Socialist Nazi's in Germany.

: Link to NAZI'S AND ISLAM

It should be no suprise to anyone that Iran is lining up with Socialists right now as we come into our election cycle.

Do not think in terms that one is not aligned with the other. If you do you are only fooling yourself.

"The Pentagon is in analysis-paralysis mode these days."

The State Department has more of a problem with endless analysis and inaction.

I for one don't encourage "Iran to bring it on." We are foolish to underestimate the Mullahs. They've got something to throw at us, or they wouldn't be mouthing off to Israel and the US the way they have been. What if their "preemptive strike" were on our troops in Iraq? Sure, we could retaliate, but ALL of our troops would be dead. Remember, they hate the Iraqis too, so that wouldn't stop them. Those Mullahs are loose cannons, and I don't trust them one bit. It's my understanding that they have rebuilt their bunkers too far under ground for us to be able to penetrate them. This is why the US is developing the new and bigger bunker busters.

There would be democratic rule in Iran within two months if they decide to throw down with us.

I smell fear in the enemy. They are definitely nervous, as they should be.

While I am not recommending "The Princess Diaries II" there was one fantastic exchange in that movie.

The evil Uncle whatever says, "I'll have you know that 'fear' is not even in my vocabulary.

Security Chief Joseph says, "No, but it is in your eyes."

It wasn't a bad movie. Great one to take your daughters to. And Julie Andrews sang, which is always a plus even if she is no longer a soprano.

Shalom.

Well I hope if we do tell them to "bring it on", we actually conduct a well planned war this time and kill as many bad guys as we need to, then lock the country down afterwards fully until it's safe....for our troops and for the innocent civilians.

There's plenty of time afterwards to put on the good guy white hats and feed the masses, build the schools, and yadda yadda yadda. If it's war, then it's........war. Quit kissing the collective ass of Islam and do it right this time.

I think Israel would wipe Iran off the map if attacked.

How?

"A commander of Iran`s elite Revolutionary Guards was quoted, blah, blah, blah..."

How come all these 3rd world tin-pot dictatorships have an "Elite Revolutionary Guard"? Is it in the Koran, or the 'Tin-pot Dictator Handbook'? Doesn't Castro have an 'Elite Revolutionary Guard' also?

It really borders on the absurd because they sure aren't "elite" at anything, except hiding behind women and children, turning tail in a battle and then climbing into the nearest rat hole.
