If this keeps up, the Torricelli gambit may come into play in mid Sept.

What will it be? Does it go to Edwards? If the rats get hit by a "pathological lying" scandal then how does a fetus channeling ambulance chaser look as a replacement? Is there something in the constitution that guides procedure to replace the nominated candidate?

Anyone know?

I can't believe it would be Edwards. My guess is Hillary. She has money, name recognition, backing of all the usual liberal/socialist thugs. And she will not have to campaign much, which is why she can only run in a circumstance like this. Won't even have time for debates.
Heck she has been co-president for 8 years already. (And she still has a lot of the furniture from the whitehouse.)

Doubt it would be Edwards, way too much a flyweight.
I still think Hillary comes to the rescure! It's the perfect scenario for her, virtually no campaigning and probably no time for debates.
Heck, she has already been co-president for 8 years. Besides she probably still has a lot of the furniture and decorations from the whitehouse.
