I posted this yesterday :
Maybe we could start a separate thread, where those of us who have the book-could give a page by page synopsis.
Going in order is so much more powerful that scattershot reviews.
Because Kerry's lies and fabrications are so much more potent, when viewed in their totality.

For instance-

Pages 1-2 Preface by John O'Neill and Jerome Corsi detailing their history and how they came to write the book.

Page 3 "Introduction ;

" I do not believe John Kerry is fit to be commander in chief of the armed forces of the United States.
This is not a political issue.
It is a matter of his judgement, truthfulness, reliability, loyalty and trust-all absolute tenets of command."

Rear Admiral Roy F Hoffman, USN ( Retired )
commander of the Swift Boats in Vietnam, 1968-1969
Call sign " Latch "

Pages 3-4 :

The Swift Boat veterans gather for a 30 year reunion in 2003.
Three hundred attend.
Master of ceremonies, Dan Daly introduces various dignitaries present, to polite applause.
Daly introduces Swiftees to rousing applause and cheers.
Daly goes to microphone to signal out Senator John Kerry for recognition-dead silence follows.
Daly, embarrassed said " I guess I laid an egg with that one."

Earlier, Kerry had arrived to the reunion, with an entourage- a film crew, a corps of directors and assistants.

" Pushing aside various Swiftees, Kerry positioned himself dockside so he could be filmed on the restored PCF that was the centerpiece of the reunion."
"As was his habit, Kerry ignored many of his fellow Swiftees."
Kerry asked for volunteers for his video-most declined.
After filming the video, Kerry and his entourage left

" not bothering to attend a memorial service for the Swiftees who had died in Vietnam."

The book is incredibly powerful as an indictment of Kerry- Every page is full of new revelations. I can see why Barnes and Noble is trying to suppress it.

And why Kerry wants it banned.

This is about the dumbest thing I have ever seen. The Kerry Campaign has just guaranteed that Unfit For Command will be the centerpiece of the rest of the campaign.

Kerry is now FORCED to debunk all the charges.

I ordered mine off Amazon also, 2 weeks ago. I still have not got it. My credit card has been charged, but I checked the status and it has not even been mailed from Amazon yet.

This is beginning to sound like the red coats are back.

It's his legal team. Trial lawyers. It's what they do. There will be a lawsuit.

"Oh, please Br'er Kerry, please don't sue us for libel and slander, please don't!", said Br'er SwiftVet.

Anyone calling for a book ban is NOT qualified to be president of the USA, period.

Kerry said at the Democratic convention, "And I will appoint an Attorney General who actually upholds the Constitution of the United States." I guess he's decided to flip-flop on this one too.

If Kerry's campaign is asking for a voluntary withdrawl (removal) of the books and those books are not available for sale to the public, doesn't that in effect constitute a ban???

They're not calling for a ban. They're asking the publisher to voluntarily withdraw it. Am I the only one who can read?

Drudges initial siren was saying "KERRY CAMPAIGN CALLS FOR BOOK BAN" only did Drudge add the quote from salon.com later.

Besides, is it almost the same thing in America.

That sticky free speech and enterprise thing!

Even though I have a copy, I've been calling our Barnes and Noble everyday and harrassing them!

They're telling outright lies..."We expected a shipment last week." "We're getting it in any day now." Blah, blah, blah!

O'Neil has already thrown down the gauntlet by telling Kerry's people that if they have a problem with the book, they can sue. O'Neil's a lawyer himself.
