Do you REALLY think that your use of Ad Hominems and repeating of the same questions isn't transparent of your desire to downplay uncomfortable topics?

Do you REALLY have a reading problem, because I already addressed this. Its not the first report I've heard of muslims coming over the border en mass. A friend of mine in New Mexico tells me of a huge Arab population there that speaks almost no English, that Al Qaeda lady caught a Texas airport after sneaking over the border points to them already being well aware of the situation...Wait a minute, why am I bothering explaining this to you, its already been cover you----aren't-----honest.

So do I really believe? Do I have to spell it out for you? Its clear you want to hammer away Sean Hannity style so you don't have to deal with the other points made, but maybe I was wrong about you bayourod-maybe you are just plain Stupid.

"Its not the first report I've heard of muslims coming over the border en mass. "

Those reports were lies also. Which white supremist site did you find them on?

" A friend of mine in New Mexico tells me of a huge Arab population there that speaks almost no English, "

There are millions of Arabs in the US. They fly in on airplanes, they don't walk over from Mexico.

"that Al Qaeda lady caught a Texas airport "

She was indicted today for immigration law violations. The Attorney Generals office said there is no evidence that she has terrorists connections.

"maybe you are just plain Stupid. "

I'm not the one who believes some woman who says she finds prayer rugs and Korans in her yard every morning.

Of course, (wink wink) just like the anti-integration movement in the 60's was about the bad Negroes.

Are we going to integrate Mexico into the Union?

Those reports were lies also. Which white supremist site did you find them on?

Do you consider FOX News a "white supremist" site?

Since September 11, 2001 more than two million illegal aliens have been caught trying to sneak across our borders into the United States. Most of the people apprehended have been Mexican Nationals looking for work, but in 2002, about 8,000 of the illegals arrested were “special interest aliens”. What's that term mean? It means that they were from countries with known ties to terror, people from countries like: Libya, Pakistan, and Iran.

Did you happen to watch Linda Vester's investigative report?

You: Those reports were lies also. Which white supremist site did you find them on?

Holy Cow! I can't believe you just posted that! I mean, first you couldn't know which reports I was referring to, second to instantly conclude that they are all "lies" sounds like something straight out of the John Kerry campaign in full out panic mode desperately trying to discredit anyone who even hints at something that doesn't fit their hyperpartisan paradigm. I could go on about beating the strawman about "racism" is like the Democrats in dealing with anyone that disagrees with them, but I want to get back to this hyper partisan, because I think that is the crux of your insanity; you are worried that if these points are uncontested, even though you haven't a shread of evidence that you have reason to doubt them, that in some way your partisan goals will be compromised. They won't. I was freaked out by that map to, but that doesn't mean you have to go scorched earth screaming "liar liar pants on fire" to defend Bush. You make Bush look worse by being the example of his defenders being so closeminded on here.

You debase yourself with this Carville esk meltdown by even suggesting that anyone who points to the common knowledge of OTMs sneaking over our border as being white supremicist is so hystrionic as to be embarrasing...for you.

I'm not the one who believes some woman who says she finds prayer rugs and Korans in her yard every morning.

No, you are the desperate partisan who's failed to prove she's incorrect, and you are the one who keeps repeating the same non sequitar question like a Trisome 23 retard. Stop wasting my time with your misdirection and bold face lies bayourod, you are the one who is avoiding whether or not you are selling out the US security for Cheap Labor after all, which speaks volumns about your intentions (and proves I was right about you)

"you are the desperate partisan "

You're not partisan? Why? Do you not know the difference between the political parties? Or is it that you don't understand the importance of political parties in the electoral process or the governing process?

Perhaps you have a party affiliation but are ashamed to acknowledge it? And then you might be a Buchanan supporter who is without a party because Buchanan is too much of a coward to even express a party preference and his supporters are too insecure to make their own choice.

Yes I am a Republican and a strong supporter of President Bush. In three months I will be celebrating while the Buchanan/Tancredo malcontents will be sulking.

Your constant ranting about Pat Buchanan and Tom Tancredo and supposed conspiracies involving them and the regular posters opposing illegal immigration have convinced me that you are suffering from delusional paranoia. You commonly exhibit other traits that lead me to that conclusion.

Fervently concealing all aspects about yourself indicate a personality that has something embarrassing or heinous that needs protecting. Constantly "answering" questions with further questions are attempts to throw questioners off and serves your purpose of striking out at others who disagree with you.

You perceive our leader as having special traits that puts him above normal men and envision yourself as his secret knight in his service. Those who don't share your vision of him and dare to criticize his actions are his enemies and must be smitten down. Those enemies try to sway your faith with truths when it suits their purpose and deceptions they prepare together in secret just to create the illusion of widely known facts. Our leader backs illegal immigration while his enemies oppose it. They conveniently reveal who they are by their opposition.

If you just repeat what you believe long enough the bad people will come to recognize the apparent truth of your statements. Attacking their every error will erode their self-confidence and make them recognize the error of their ways. Wearing them down long enough will surely make them see the light. If they don't or won't they'll all be sorry after the election, because people who don't agree with our leader in all things must be backing his Democrat opponent.

They're called psychiatrists, Rod. They can only help you if you let them.

"I will bookmark this thread to use you as an example of how gullible the xenophobes can be."

That's always the refuge of the open borders, head in the sand crowd. Racism.

If you EVER spent a moment reviewing the numerous threads/reports here on FR regarding OTM's (other than Mexican) border crossings, you may have a different outlook. Don't ask me to provide citations, do your own homework. The facts are here concerning the numberous MidEast crossers the Border Patrol is constantly apprehending - 77 just recently.

And btw, just how many of the world's population should we let in yearly? 100,000? 1,000,000? 5,000,000? 10m? 20m? 50m? And do we have the right to maintain our affluent lifestyle? Should we continue to allow our border hospitals to go bankrupt? Should we allow our schools to be over crowded? Should we allow for almost 25% of our federal prison population be illegal criminals? I could go on, but probably of no avail.

But one last thing, I don't care if they were flooding in from Scotland (my heritage), we can only take in so many without having a negative social/economic impact. Do some research. Or do you just not care about the future of the American lifestyle?

I love our President Bush with all my heart.  My post is by NO means a slam against him.  There is just so much he or anyone can do about our borders.

Even the border patrol said they need more help because it's out of hand and there is just enough border patrol's to control it.  (The government only post so many border patrols every few miles). The couple that was in the documentary had a trailer that they lived in, right by the fence separating the two countries.

If you will notice, more and more terrorist are being arrested in the U.S.  But still not enough to make up for the 'thousands' coming across our borders late at night.

Where are they going?  Well, check the terrorist map.  I am sure they ALL have a home to go to.

But just keep in mind:  The President is my guy!  I pray constantly that he will get 4 more years for us.  He and Laura have so much class and I love them both.

Do you believe that she saved them and showed them in the documentary? What do you think she did? BUY THEM? They were all shown on the documentary. She had a pretty good pile.

I thought we had all learned better in the intevening decades.

I don't care WHAT you believe. But it was all shown in the documentary that I watched. Like I said: do you really think this couple went out and BOUGHT THESE ITEMS just for the TV? I think not!

There are many issues that Republicans have disagreements on, but only on these immigration threads do we see the anti-Bush venom spewing.

You can kiss my white patoot! My post is in NO way venom towards our President!

I am TIRED of your HATE SPEECH!

(sounds like your a little afraid of the truth coming out about the Islam bunch crossing the borders at night. What.  Are you one of THEM?  Only a nitwit would try to sweep this under the rug.  We have a very SERIOUS PROBLEM here!)

Bayo, bayo, bayo, why won't you take our advice, we want to help you get well.

You can't have it both ways by saying those opposed to illegal immigration are a tiny 1% bunch of malcontents and then turn around and blame us should Bush lose. Do you actually believe people are that stupid and can't think for themselves but rather are a bunch of sheep allowing Bay Buchanan to play on their emotions? Did it ever occur to you a growing number of American taxpayers are fed up footing the bill for Mexico and everyone else because they see the reality of it with their own eyes?

This illegal immigration crisis is far beyond Bush now though he indeed may pay for it in November, which is exactly why you should consider getting some help now ahead of time to prevent your impending nervous breakdown. Judging by your posts you're already on the edge.

I voted for Pat Buchanan. I emailed my concerns to Tom Tancredo, and not only did his office return my email, he sent me a letter. He or his staff actually took the time to respond to my comments. I'll remember that.

America IS up the creek without a paddle. If the woman says she's finding Korans and prayer rugs on her property, I can believe it. This has been going on under our noses for years. I don't know about every single day, but a slight exageration under the circumstances is acceptable to me.

We need to build a wall. This will not only prevent dangerous people from entering into our country, but also prevent human rights abuses from occuring on American soil. There are those who seem to have a problem with posts exposing the magnitude of illegal immigration and all the problems that come with it. I wonder why? This is a problem that affects all of us.

I've lived in CA my whole life. My kids go to public schools. I've lived in ghetto neighborhoods. I see what goes on. I don't have anything against Hispanics, but I do have a problem with people who come here illegally, and take what they're not entitled to have. Those who don't live in the border states might not understand the impact that this has on our lives and our state infrastructures. Please don't try and tell us we don't know what we're talking about.

Btw, I'm voting for Bush.

Thank you for your testimony!  America is hurting BIG time and America, as we knew it, will never be the same.

"They"" have already infiltrated our land.  As long as they do not get into trouble, they continue on their merry way until the big day that they do another 9-11.  Then, it's too late for us to decide WHO they are and what state they CAME from before this attack happened.

Maybe a mosque will, maybe it won't, but that is a totally different issue than whether or not a hysterical biddy with an obvious agenda is lying when she says she "finds Korans and prayer rugs every day abandoned in her yard" by border jumpers.

If she IS finding these, the most "sacred objects" a Muslim owns; and in the case of the Koran, something that would be considered blasphemous to toss on the ground and abandon--a death penalty offense among the very extremists these would be;

AND since Mexicans highly outnumber the rest of the border jumpers, let alone Muslims;

AND since many of those Mexicans are devout Catholics:

THEN, she should also be be up to her hips in discarded Bibles, rosaries and St. Christopher medals EVERY day also.

And, if they leave that many SACRED objects behind, than the mountain of burrito wrappers, discarded clothes, broken sandals, and other secular trash should prevent her from even being able to open her door EVERY day.

Instead, this story just leaves everyone else up to their hips in BS.

Sensational, extreme exaggeration, far from solving the problem, only serves to convince people that the entire story is fiction, and that NO elements of it are true.

That is counterproductive, and makes it just that much harder to show those same people that a genuine problem indeed exists and needs immediate solving.

Indeed, the problem does exist. But hard facts, and hard evidence; not the equivalent of a National Enquirer "documentary", that is on a par with Sharpton's Tawana Brawley "story", is what is needed before people thousands of miles away will be convinced.

I repeat, this story is pure yellow journalist propagandist poppycock that William Randolph Hearst would have been proud to claim.

Most of the people apprehended have been Mexican Nationals looking for work, but in 2002, about 8,000 of the illegals arrested were “special interest aliens”.

Assuming that 5 came across for every one caught; assumming that they ALL came across from Mexico; Assuming the Mexican border is about 1000 miles:

That is about 0.1 per mile per day, or about 100 per day total.

In fact, many of the 8,000 are caught as they try to fly in illegally; cross from Canada; arrive in ships, either as crew or stowaways, as well as those crossing the Mexican border. The statistics cited are not for JUST Mexican Border hopping, and therefore are neither a valid argument, nor valid for extrapolation.

Every bit of this IS, however, not germane to the truthfulness of the article SheLion posted. The gal in that article is exagerating terribly, if not outright lying. That is counterproductive.

As to the original thread-article posted, the only conclussion that can be drawn from the information presented is that some progress is being made to solve the problem, and that more progress can be expected soon; and more yet is needed.

As to Fox's article you linked, the stats are not from the same places and time periods; and since ESTIMATES of ratios of caught to uncaught vary widely, they prove nothing except that we've caught a batch; and presumably didn't catch an unknown number.

Nobody disputes that it is happening, and that it needs to be stopped (excpet the MECHA types and their fellow travellers) but fear mongering is not the way to convince people. In fact, it turns too many off to listening to any evidence that a probelem exsits, and the farther from the border you get, the more this is true.
