Like most people, I was born with a rectum and an anus. I can assure you, however, that there is absolutely no connection between me and John Kerry. So you see, just because something I possess looks similar to something else...
Now.....isn't that observation sad?
Moveon.org giving a link to contribute to the Kerry campaign does indeed sound like it's at least worth investigating.
Problem is that the FEC doesn't want to get involved in regulating 527s until 2005 at the soonest.
His opinions are banned. His facts are welcome.
The East Bay for Kerry/MoveOn House party on December 7th combined the forces of two grass-roots organizations based in San Francisco East Bay Area. We had 200 guests eating, drinking, and watching the MoveOn Documentary Uncovered featuring Joseph Wilson and Rand Beers from the Kerry campaign.

A 527 is defined by 26 USC 527, and is a political organization. There are exemptions in the campaign finance laws for political organizations that are not organized on behalf of a specific candidate or party.
Turn 'em in to the FEC. Show no mercy.
Another Freeper posted earlier today to the effect that the guts and aggressiveness shown by the Swifties are the clearest possible sign that they are not being run by the GOP.

I hate to agree...but I do!
Where is superman when you need him?
...It could start by pointing out that Teresa Heinz-Kerry visited a Kerry/MoveOn house party in San Francisco last December. At the party she handed out an "Asses of Evil" pin that contained the pictures of Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Ashcroft. Later she "took a call" from her Senator husband, who proceeded to speak to the assembled group. On the way out, she took some "Condoleezza Rice Crispies Bars" with her.

"Ithaca, New York - Yesterday, the first it-finally-feels-like-spring Saturday morning on the walking mall in downtown Ithaca, New York, was welcomed by local organizers of and participants in the nation-wide MoveOn.org bake sale....On the walking mall (known as "The Commons") in Ithaca, such political sweetness tempted local groups such as Bush Must Go, and the local John Kerry campaign to get out their own messages by talking politics with munching passers-by."

No, that's off limits.
But it is OK for MM to sit in Kerry's box with Carter at the Democrat convention. There's nothing wrong with that.
Becki
It is all a tactic to change the focus off the swift vets claims onto the bogus issue of who is funding who.
Guess what? It seems to be working.
Great find!
He voted for Al Gore in 2000.
This has nothing to do with Bush. That's spin. This is Vietnam Vets vs. Kerry.
Do mainstream journalists stand and applaud when Kerry enters the room? What is the reaction to Michael Moore when he walks into a roomful of Dems/libs? Tell me about moveon.org.......
So..........for anyone who thinks they're going to establish direct ties to SBVfT and the Bush campaign....go screw yourselves. Let's have a discussion about "integrity", shall we?
