Some of those people (on both sides) need to ask themselves the old cliched question - What would Jesus do or want us to do. Would He want us to be watching/spying on other churches, or using our resources to better do His work.

You are probably right. I know spying was not part of Jesus' ministry.

I concur. I do not think that the members and pastors of my denomination(PCA)would ever condone something like this. It is important to vote along proper lines of morality and and personal faith, but using the pulpit to 'promote' either side is a bit much.
