I suppose that might depend on how much money is made available to the SWVT for airing it.

Brit and Kristol pointed out that John Kerry's version today disputes that '69 document.

That is one element that is being overlooked in this fiasco. Kerry and Kerry's mouthpieces have altered the versions/renditions so many times, that most news people, reporters, news readers haven't kept up.

Kerry and Kerry's mouthpieces have contradicted their own versions. There are about a dozen version of the Christmas in Cambodia story. That doesn't even take into account the differing stories surrounding the actions that resulted in Kerry getting his medals.

That is exactly the reason that Kerry -- not a mouthpiece -- needs to come forward and address this issue. If that means an hour debate with John O'Neill or a news conference with open questions, Kerry needs to address this himself.

What really bothers me, and what has cemented in my heat that the above networks are propagandists, in support of Kerry and fully against President Bush is the simple fact that NONE of THEM have put Kerry's own book, Tour of Duty, into the debate regarding Kerry's character.

The book has an UPSIDE DOWN AMERICAN FLAG on the cover, and this book was taken off the shelves and off print by Kerry. WHY?

Once correction. Brinkley wrote Tour of Duty. Kerry wrote The New Soldier, which has the upside down American Flag in an Iwo Jima, Mt Suribachi pose.

Kristol: Kerry's band of brothers are the Vietnam protesters.

We need to find the picture of Teresa Heinz Kerry attending a Moveon.org rally with a button that said.....ASSES OF EVIL and a picture of Bush Cheney and Rumsfeld around the edge of the button.

Does anyone think that NBC and CNBC are going to run clarifications or retractions of the OBVIOUS AND EGREGIOUS ERROR they made yesterday evening in using Rood's account to impugn the Swiftvets' recollections about Kerry's BRONZE STAR?

Actally, the term turnpike goes back to the Colonial days. It was a closed, privately owned road that had a pole or pike at the entrance, that was turned up and down to allow paying traffic to go on it. Many of the battles of the Civil War reference turnpikes. That was how people got around in those days, before government became the sole road master.

Thanks...I just wish I hadn't misspelled "innacuraces"...inaccuracies....LOL!

That Investors Business Daily editorial is really devastating. Closing paragraphs:

You may be wondering: Why raise these questions now, in the heat of a campaign? Sadly, the major media have all but ignored questions of Kerry's record. They've been too busy looking for scandal in Bush's past and, more recently, attacking O'Neill and anyone else who dares question Kerry's glowing accounts of his service.

The bias is pervasive. As the Media Research Center, a media watchdog, pointed out, ABC, CBS and NBC did 75 stories on charges Bush was "AWOL" from the National Guard. They did nine on claims Kerry fibbed about his war record. Biased might be too kind a description.

The major media in this country are overwhelmingly liberal and refuse to ask the questions that need to be asked. They do their viewers and readers — and Kerry for that matter — a disservice.

If Kerry thinks he's being slandered, he should answer with facts —not with insults, threats and lawsuits.

We have questions, senator. We're ready for your answers.

Ouch! Can't cover that one up with a mere bandaid.

Message to the Kerry camp, don't send out lawyers and hit men, get someone who was there and knows the facts to debate or stay off the TV shows

LOL. Unfortuately, they don't have anyone who can debate the facts and not to answer back is not an option. The RNC needs to take up the baton on Kerry's antiwar activities. If it is done properly, it will kill his candidacy.

My goodness, you've hit on it. Where's Dick Cavett? Still kicking, right?

Next time the dems challenge Pres Bush to submit to ALL the debates proposed someone should say only if Kerry will agree to everything we propose.....and we propose a redux!

Kerry's "secret" is ... Outsourcing our national security.

It's that and worse, I believe. Kerry would dissipate our very sovereignty and strongly inhibit our ability to act militarily without consent from super-majority of the UN.

Mommy Heinz!
Help!

Look! What the Harvard Crimson wrote about me in 1970

Published on Wednesday, February 18, 1970
John Kerry: A Navy Dove Runs for Congress
By SAMUEL Z. GOLDHABER
Crimson Staff Writer

"...One time Kerry was ordered to destroy a Viet Cong village
but disobeyed orders and suggested that the Navy Command
simply send in a Psychological Warfare team to be
friend the villagers with food, hospital supplies,
and better educational facilities."

Now my shipmates on the
USS GRIDLEY CG-21
are attacking me.

and see what
the USS GRIDLEY crew say.

They say I told lies in Tour of Duty
GRIDLEY CREW ARE LIKE
SWIFT BOAT VETS MEANIES!

Mommy : Can I please sell MY real book?
The New Soldier,
By John Kerry
and Vietnam Veterans Against the War

Mommy : Please don't be mad
about my hero Al Hubbard.

Head of Kerry's Vietnam Vets Against the War was Vietnam Vet phony
"Many of the stories were later shown to be fictional. Other so-called Vietnam veterans, such as the executive secretary of VVAW, Al Hubbard, a self-styled poet ("See what you've become, Amerika," ends one of his Vietnam odes),
turned out to have no record of service in Vietnam."

OOPS! I POOPED in my diaper again.

Mommy : Don't take my allowance away.
Mommy : Why does McCain
still campaign with Bush?
Mommy : Why doesn't Al Gore defend me?
He is a Vietnam Vet.

Mommy : OOPS I Pooped again.

Mommy : Why did Hillary
"leak" FBI Files on me?
I even used her famous slogan?

"Kerry entered and abandoned Vietnamese village and slaughtered domestic animals
owned by the civilians and burned down their homes with his Zippo lighter."

It only takes one idiot to raze a village!
(My original response!)

Mommy : Where is Ted Kennedy?

"Just imagine what we could do if FR could buy us a subscription to Lexis/Nexis!) "

Check out your local school district. My local district sent passwords for the scholastic version of L/N. Hardly different from the original, except it's not as detailed on the Lexis side, but the newsy stuff is great. I use it all the time, especially the section which provides Radio/ TV transcripts. Once they're on the original source, say CNN, can't have them removed.

Just heard on the news that Colin Powell is going to the Olympics.

WABC radio news reporting that the Iraqi soccer captain is trashing President Bush. Saying Bush destroyed his country and doesn't care about the Iraqi people.

"Repeating my earlier posts, George was mostly fair on This Week, ABC, with John O'Neill. O'Neill left Podesta in his dust. This was amazing. There was very little crosstalk and viewers had a chance to hear the truth.

This one segment might prove to be the key moment in this election cycle. It was that good.

WOW! I just watched this and I agree 100%! Podesta came across as quite the spinning, conniving politician trying to save his butt. He came off VERY bad, O'Neill came off as very calm, cool and collected.

But then I'm not biased. ;o)
