George Soros and Move-On.org. His plan to defeat George Bush Part II

This may be old news, but John Podesta was on the Sunday news programs talking about the supposed link between the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and the Bush Campaign.

Seems those who live in glass houses shouldn't be so naked. This link calls this "part II", of an expose of MoveOn.org's campaign corruption, and George Soros's plan to defeat Bush. I know, old news, but this document goes into specifics and the ties shown are a little damning at this particular time. At the bottom are details of a complaint to the FEC.

This is nothing new at all, but it used to be worse.

Recall the days then 99% of the news came from the NY Times, Washington Post and Walter Cronkite.

That's why lefties are in such an uproar about Fox News, internet news sites and radio hosts like Rush.

Bernie Sanders, along with 37 other Democrats threatened Fox with legislation to rein them in if they didn't become more "balanced." They've always wanted to silence Rush under an "equal time" concept, and we know what they think of Drudge and sites like this.

There is a solid reason why Kerry is calling on so many Clintonista's like Podesta. These are veteran liars. They know how to spout the most outlandish prevarications with a smile and a straight face. (Many of them are lawyers, with all traces of ethics surgically removed at birth.)

Seems like the left is trying to come up with their own Richard Mellon Scaife. Not only are they late with this gambit, but they don't see the contradiction.

The left wants to bring "power" to the masses, and the money has to come from somewhere. Wealthy people got that way because they know about leadership and how to run things, so they're not likely to go around doling out goodies to the great unwashed, or getting permission slips from them.

Unfortunately, there are always exceptions, and Soros ain't fit for the rule.

I continue to get a daily national media email that I subscribed to when I was in "the biz." (I was definitely in the minority politically among my coworkers in the newsroom.) It used to be a newsletter that gave the scoop on who is doing what as far as special news programming, ratings books results for networks and affiliates, which anchor or reporter or news director is moving over to another station, who won a journalism award or which anchorette got the biggest "get" interview, plus a little section that includes a job opening of the day. They send out clips from news articles having to do with "the biz" and related matters like Howard Stern and Colin Powell's son at the FCC or the impact of Janet Jackson's boob, etc.

The newsletter editor's choices have always been left leaning and they loved "serving the public" under BJ Clinton. Since the start of the war in Iraq, the content has been getting more and more political. Now a day doesn't go by without the bashing of Fox News Channel and President Bush. In fact, the stories and commentary about FNC are beginning to outnumber anything else chosen for print and if they aren't outright negative, they are subtly snide and condescending in tone.

The media are NOT doing their job. They have an agenda and will accomplish it if we don't hold them accountable. The way to do that is NOT watch or listen to the MSM. Now that I'm no longer working in "the news biz" I can participate in the Nielsen ratings. I was sent a ratings diary last month and they're not going to like what they see.
