Premiering Monday, August 30th 10:00 PM* 'The Fabulous Life: Bush vs. Kerry Bling Off' Weighs In On The Real Campaign Issues
NEW YORK, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Let's face the facts: you can't be a poor boy and run for president. The bid to become the Commander-In-Chief takes a lot more than your average Hollywood bling. "The Fabulous Life: Bush vs. Kerry Bling-Off" matches the two presidential hopefuls in a bare-knuckle showdown to see who will claim the title of "The King of Bling."
Premiering Monday, August 30th at 10:00 p.m. "The Fabulous Life: Bush vs. Kerry Bling-Off" uncovers the lives of these two politicians revealing which candidate has the best homes, the blingier bride and can boast the best ride. One candidate has a home worth an estimated $7.1 million and is the proud owner of five custom made bicycles priced at $12,000 each. The other contender has a prime Pennsylvania Avenue residence and owns 25 pairs of custom designed cowboy boots worth up to $40,000 a pair.
The series "The Fabulous Life ... " first premiered in January 2002. The series takes a first class joy ride through the lavish living enjoyed by the very rich and the very famous. From their lifestyles filled with non-stop VIP treatment, endless entourages, and thousand dollar face creams, to fleets of cars, massive estates and multi-million dollar wardrobes and generous charitable giving "The Fabulous Life" uncovers it all.

There's no way W owns a $40K pair of boots unless they (a) have some kind of historical significance (Hood's boots!) or (b) they were a gift.
If Laura Bush wins this title, we KNOW it's rigged.
Probably a gift. He gets lots of gifts from people. Like I said in my title - Useless news!
Gotta be rigged.
The candidate that supports "big business" and went to "war for oil" is worth less than one-tenth what the candidate that "knows and understands the common man is worth"...makes sense to me.
I wonder how VH1 is going to spin this.
And by 'cute,' I mean 'retarded.'
I never want to hear the word Bling again, has the whole country gone stupid??
LOL - I think so. Sounds like baby talk to me!
why do these phrases used by kids and teens move up and start to be used by generally normal adults?? yet words used by generally normal adults don't move down and get used by kids (like "please" and "excuse me"). The entire country doesn't want to grow up. (I don't know if its always been this way I am only 25 and am just starting to notice it)
From this day forth I pledge NEVER to use the word Bling again!! (not that I ever used it before)
Look for VH1 to spike this show once they get the threatening call from Kerry Headquarter's. Can't have reality creeping into a finely crafted image now, can we?
Before I blocked it off my cable box, I would occasionally pass by VH1, and every time I did there was another show on the latest nouveau riche rapper/rock star and their ability to spend money.
VH1 is the most brain-dead celebrity-worshipping crap on cable.
I just saw this program (well, skipped back to it between commercials). Basically, they arranged it so there was a tie at the end. Then they had a "recount", and since Kerry married into his wealth, they gave it to Bush.
No matter how you look at it, both these guys have a ton of money and real estate.
Two things were interesting. Of the 6 categories Bush one, 4 of the 6 he won by virtue of being President. Of the 6 categories that Kerry won, at least 3 (I think) were by virtue of being married to Teresa. I'm not trying to draw a conclusion here, just found it kinda interesting.
