I would think the word LOVE would be something rarely used in his parents household.

I get the same feeling about Scotts parents. There is something about those two that is very wierd. Lee Peterson looks like an evil person to me.

I have always disagreed with idea that Scott's love for Amber was the reason for Laci's murder.

Scott and Laci owned a nice house, two expensive cars, were members of the local Country Club and were badly in debt. Then Scott bought a boat.

I believe that Laci was killed because Scott wanted the high, jet setting life style with lots of expensive toys and women. A wife and child put a big crimp in those plans.

I think Scott's problem is pretty simple to understand. He weighed the desirability of killing his wife against the chances that he'd suffer consequences, then based an action on it. The only thing that's screwed up, so far as I can tell, is his perception of how likely it was that he'd be exposed. It's perfectly understandable to anyone who has ever plunked down a buck for a lottery ticket. He's not a sociopath as far as I can tell, nor is he someone who kills to assuage a wounded ego.

hard to say what he meant there....was he saying to a new gf I LOVED my wife but no longer, or was he saying I once thought I knew what love was and loved her but no longer, was he thinking of her as a lost toy, like I loved my golf clubs ? If you found this once, I would say Geragross has a tough road to plow based on Snott's love for anything other than himself.

The guy isn't stupid. He didn't even FAKE emotion for his missing family until his interview on TV. I guess that's the part I don't understand. I know this guy has a huge ego that figured NO ONE would think he did it, but....he didn't even act the part of a grieving hubby/daddy. He went OUT OF HIS WAY to look guilty. That doesn't make any sense to me. It was almost like he was taunting everyone.

I don't think the proscecution should tie itself down to Amber where just the single life style would cover it, after all we don't know where he was headed after Amber.

Down the thread though when Amber says "In some respects it sounds good that....to hear that you at least loved your pregnant wife I mean as crazy as that sounds.

Complete silence from Scott and then he changes the subject.

thanks for posting that, if he LOVED Laci what the hell was he doing with Amber and why did he ever start with her ? It sounds like his g/f was asking him if he loves his wife and he catches himself in a lie and says I loved her in order to accomodate Amber.

#57..and they have him tracked by cell tower to being near Berkeley Marina during a search as he is saying he is at home...during several calls to family and friends...Makes a joke to one repairman about finding anchor on another call..
