Former Vietnam POWs, including Medal of Honor recipients, are attacking John Kerry's anti-war activism in a new Website and documentary, sources said Tuesday.
The Website slated to appear as early as Thursday night or Friday is Stolenhonor.com and will feature not only the former prisoners of North Vietnam's infamous Hanoi Hilton prison complex, but also family members of former prisoners relating how anti-war activity by Kerry and other Vietnam Veterans Against the War affected their lives.
"This is going to be the POW story. They are going to talk about the documentary coming out soon and will tell the story about how John Kerry betrayed the POWs, fellow Vietnam veterans and his country," former POW Ken Cordier said.
Cordier told UPI's Richard Tomkins a documentary film was in the works on Kerry and his anti-war activism and could be posted on the site, as well as on television or other venues, by Labor Day.
"It will be like Farenheit 9/11 but it won't be a pack of lies," he said.
Funding behind the two ventures was not immediately clear.
Kerry, following his service in Vietnam, became a prominent anti-war activist and testified before a Senate committee about alleged atrocities. The ex-POWs say those unsubstantiated allegations were used by the North Vietnamese to sap their morale.

Sweet! Kerry was a fool to think that his actions during/after Vietnam wouldn't come back to haunt him. It still floors me that we have a man running for PResident who actually took part in a meeting where assasinations of U.S. Senators was discussed.
Amen.
And the main advocate of those assassinations is still a Kerry friend and was slotted (until recently) to become a part of his campaign.
Until someone dredged this fact up.

John Kerry abandoned our husbands, sons, fathers, and brothers in favor of trade and normalization of relations with Vietnam. His actions paved the way for the further abandonment of POWs and MIAs from World War II, the Korean War, and the Cold War.
John Kerry, as chairman of the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs, ordered the destruction of committee documents, blocked avenues of investigation, and misrepresented progress on the POW/MIA issue to justify lifting of the trade embargo against Vietnam.

It was tragic what that snake did to our men and I'm overjoyed to see the truth finally coming out. Maybe facing and defeating Kerry is what will finally allow this country and our heroes to heal over Vietnam.

I agree..I think that is one of the reaons the media is supporting Kerry so much, their legacy is tied to his...
The Democrats are slowly, gradually realizing that they can't shout louder than these guys and that this is a losing issue for them. They're starting to fall back on their familiar-to-the-point-of-shopworn "jobs/healthcare/social utopia" mantra in order to take attention off the fact that a large majority of veterans really can't stand "I'm Audie Murphy" Kerry.
This fresh assault, based on Kerry's comments before congress, is pretty hard for him to refute. With only 69 days to the election, it looks like the Kerry camp is gonna be playing a losing game of defense until November 2.
All Bush has to do is come on strong and decisive during the last two weeks of the race.

I think of it more as the sinking of the democratic party.
I'm old enough to know these thing come and go like pendelum swings, but right now the vets are on the upswing.
