YOUNGSTOWN, OH Democrat Youngstown Mayor George M. McKelvey, who recently endorsed President Bush, today issued the following statement:
"John Kerry has tried to scare Ohio voters with pessimistic attacks on our economy, but his misleading rhetoric ignores his record of voting 98 times to increase taxes, including the largest tax increase in U.S. history. Kerry also opposes efforts to curb the medical liability lawsuits that are costing patients up to $108 billion each year.
"John Kerry and his running mate are two of only four Senators who voted for the Iraq War and then voted against $87 billion in funding to supply our troops with essential equipment like body armor and ammunition. Kerry previously called that vote 'irresponsible,' but now says he's 'proud' of opposing our troops. Kerry talks about intelligence reform, but the reality is he missed 76 percent of public Senate Intelligence Committee hearings during his time on the panel. Kerry's willingness to say one thing and do another is making it impossible for him to maintain his credibility among Ohioans."
Hope we see this info in ads soon.
I thank him.
Just Damn. This guy is way off the Rat Reservation. I hope he has retained a good lawyer.
or a good undertaker
I'll guess they look something like this.
"This guy is way off the Rat Reservation. I hope he has retained a good lawyer."
I hope he gets a special invite to the GOP Convention, to sit with the good Demo. Senator from Georgia and the Demo. former mayor of N.Y. City (Koch). If this keeps up, there are going to be as many Democrats there as there will be Republicans. (Love it!!!)
It amazes me when I see that rare individual who is bigger than their political party.
kerry's 'band of lawyers' already has private investigators digging up dirt on his mother's cousin's sister trying to get him to refrain from practicing any free speech that doesn't conform to the dnc platform
