North Korea claimed that it could have won at least one gold if only its leader, Kim Jong-Il, had competed in a shooting event in Athens. Sorry, Ill. I don't believe the Olympics allow dissidents bound hand-and-foot to be used as targets at their official shooting competitions.

After a poor performance by its mediocre athletes, North Korea claimed that it could have won at least one gold if only its leader, Kim Jong-Il, had competed in a shooting event in Athens. Is there a "shooting political prisioners in the back of the head at point-blank range" event?

I think the article is wrong...
It should have wrote. North Korean athletes could have won the gold, if Kim Jong-Il was the target in the shooting events. :p

This guy is quite an athlete. He also apparently shot a round of golf in the 50s the first time he ever played the game. He had three of four hole in ones.
