Oh my, Hispanics are the majority in Texas? How shocking. We will be a hispanic(more accurately Mexican) nation in 30-40 years. Here in Raleigh,NC the hispanic population(illegal aliens that is) has increased 500% in 5 years. No one is doing a thing about it. I went to the zoo here and all the signs were in English and Spanish. "The new south".
People don;t realize it though because the Mexicans all live in a VW parked in an Albertson's Lot in San Antonio.
What this does not mention is that many illegal imigrants were counted on the census.
The Census folks even admitted that there was a problem with that...due to how many of their survey people operated.

Whites may be less than 50% of the population, but they are still the largest racial group. And it's not an "us against them" mentality in this state. Never has been, as the names of the Alamo defenders attest.
We elect hispanics and blacks to statewide offices here, and you know what? Not a single one of them is a Democrat.

Texas state demographer Steve Murdock says the two trends are related as economic woes have slowed white migration from other states.

Like I sdaid in other posts, I feel helpless between the multi cultural Democrats and cheap labor, socially darwinistic WSJ wing of the GOP. I know while most people are focused on the Swift Boat vets, they ignore the real demographic disaster that is taking place in the US. It makes me physically ill, questioning if I should even vote.
