"...There are objective principles and standards by which to strive to live..."
An outstanding point.
: )
Do the Republicans have ANY plans to combat fraud in Democrat precincts this November?
My bet is they have no plans, as usual. They seem to have this (IMO) flawed and fatal approach that says: "We'll take the high road and just work harder to overcome the cheating on the other side". What they fail to realize is that ignoring evil invites more evil. I wonder how much higher the stakes have to be before they wake up?
Many GOP workers in PA do not believe Gore won this state. It's going to be worse this time around. In 2K, Ridge was governor, now, PAs governor is a Philly machine politician/thug. Kerry will win, no matter how the voters decide it.
You are exactly correct. The evidence you gave is overwhelming, yet what did the Republicans do? Their silence is deafening. When the integrity of the common man is missing, society falls. Yes, Bush will really win, but Kerry will be the declared winner.
No, I would not. We are all of us flawed humans, but generally we conservatives look for--and sometimes struggle toward--doing the right thing. Even if it means our enemies winning a round. On the other hand, I know of liberals who suspend the dicey morality they do have when they believe that the cause is big enough, or important enough. Of course, they decide that as they go along. Thus, I know of liberals who thought there was nothing wrong with stuffing the corpse Lautenberg into a senate slot, because, "We can't let the Republicans control the Senate"--said in hushed, self-important, ends-justify-the-means tones. I know of Pennsylvanians registered here and in Florida who think it is absolutely justified for them to vote in both places, because the Republicans are..."so evil." It's a moral mission, then. Breaking a federal law is okay, because they are so selfish and immature that they think their beliefs justify illegal and immoral behavior. That may be one of the fundamental differences between libs and conservs.John, you made my day!
These people are evil through and through. They care nothing for honesty, election integrity or the will of the people. To them, all those things are just obstacles in the way of them getting what they want....power.
Thanks for making me focus my thoughts on this subject.
Glad to be a part of it.
In the 2000 election I was a Poll Watcher in a Dem precinct in Houston, Texas. I prevented over 100 people from voting twice; most were registered to other precincts. Some even came from out of state. The ones that I caught and stopped by protesting to the Dem Election Judge amounted to 12% of the votes recorded at that precinct. Oh, and the Election Judge tried to lose me as I followed him on the freeway going to deliver the Ballot Box. Turns out that many Dem Election Judges keep the ballot box overnight in order to make sure that the right holes are punched. Hey! Its a lot of work to punch hundreds of ballots!
Sometimes the fraud doesn't involve cheating. For example, Dems keep claiming that Gore "won" the 2000 popular vote. Bzzzzt. Wrong! In a number of states, the popular vote count was stopped when it became clear that the remaining ballots were insufficient to overcome Gore's lead. Those votes were typically from outlying areas and usually are heavily Republican. In California itself, nearly 500,000 votes were not counted at all. So claims of an "official" popular vote won by Gore are bogus. We don't elect presidents by popular vote, so there's never been any attempt in any presidential election to determine anything even remotely resembling an "official" popular total. But this kind of claim sounds great as a way of challenging the properly elected president's legitimacy, and poisoning the well of our civic institutions.
It's unlikely that the recently elected Senator from South Dakota is legitimate, there having been so much fraud in the Rosebud and Pine Ridge Indian Agencies in 2002.
In Chicago, Philly, St. Louis and a number of other large cities, the outlook is truly grim for 2004. Republicans need to call up Federal troops, as they had to in the South in the 1960's. People need to go to jail. Most of the people committing fraud are union operatives. I can tell you this from personal experience: in a past life I was a shop steward and later a union organizer. Most working men don't realize how genuinely corrupt the leadership of their unions is. And none of them understand how genuinely radical their unions are. They think it's about the right to bargain collectively, but that's not what organized labor has in mind. People complain about 527's, or media bias, while behind the scenes labor unions contribute over $100 million in free labor, material, and illegal cash during national elections. Most of their ballot stuffing is deliberately hidden in minority neighborhoods because union thugs know that the Republicans are too afraid of the race card to enforce the law.
The vote fraud mentioned here is like the proverbial fly on the elephant's butt.
There could be millions of fraudulent votes cast this year....why?, because we have never done anything about it. People just look the other way and shake their heads, as their freedom goes down the toilet.
This could turn us into a communist country very quickly. Those that control and count the votes.....control everything.
If the Democrats get away with it this election cycle, it will increase mega-fold for the next.
Absolutely true. To them, the end justifies whatever means of the moment, whatever schemes, whatever wickedness their hateful and vengeful minds concoct.
Very true, Lion. It's a very sad state of affairs, really.
Post it.
I do agree this is the most important election to date: November 2, 2004 = the end of an ERROR!
BUMP!
Please Pass Emergency Anti-Vote Fraud Measure Immediately!
Vote fraud threatens the very core of our republic, and it directly threatens our sovereignty
Please send the following message to your Congressmen and Senators:
Please pass, on an expedited basis, emergency legislation to require voters to show ID at all polling places on Election Day.
Vote fraud threatens the very core of our republic, and it directly threatens our sovereignty. There is a significant amount of evidence emerging that evinces a wide-spread plot to engage in massive voter fraud. Thus, Congress must take immediate action to counter this potential menace.
Congress has the express power to dictate the time, place, and manner in which federal elections are held. The congressional power to make or alter time, place, or manner of federal elections extends to the regulation of voter registration. Federal regulation of the electoral processes, including the regulation of federal voter registration, is also consistent with the Tenth Amendment and permissible; although states do have broad discretion to enact and implement registration procedures, states may not transgress the Constitution. It follows that state voter registration and Election Day statutes that are inconsistent with federal voter registration and Election Day mandates are preempted.
As per the Federal Court in Byrd v. Brice, the government may require a voter to furnish proof of identity at the polling place on Election Day. Such a measure would go a long way in protecting citizens federal voting rights from fraudulent practices.
Please set to work immediately on enacting emergency legislation to require a valid ID at the polling places on Election Day.

Is why, we got to pray and work and work some more. We need Pres. Bush to have a wide enough margin to keep the dims from cheating the system.
.........
What's that old saw about trusting God to take care of it but working as though it's all up to you?
