If they could just stop voter fraud, Pres. Bush would win by a land slide.

Are your figures for dual registrations or for dual voting. I'm not sure dual registration is always evidence of wrong doing.

If something could have been done about voter fraud, the 2000 election would not have been in any sort of dispute....

Well, if one starts actively prosecuting them, then the double voters will get criminal history as felons

That's a great idea.
Why isn't it being investigated more? It should be a huge issue in Washington!

Phildelphia is every bit as filthy as Cook County, and the current PA governor is a Philadelphia machine politician, so you can expect that Kerry will win PA, one way or the other.

The Democrats like to claim they won PA in 2000. A lot of us don't beleive it. Here's something from a John Fund column, it's representative:

"Philadelphia has a long reputation of fixing elections as a means of controlling patronage and municipal contracts. The Philadelphia Inquirer has noted that the city has just over one million registered voters. Since that's just about the number of eligible voters the U.S. census estimates live in the city, experts believe there are upward of 80,000 fraudulent registrations.

The source of this info is a Philadelphia Inquirer article. The Inquirer is one of the most left-wing papers in the country--consistently to the left of the NYT. If they admit to a problem, imagine how bad it really is.

Yes. Duplicate registration is just the tip of the iceberg in PA.

If they could just stop voter fraud, Pres. Bush would win by a land slide.

And if the media reported the Truth, rather than acting as a Dem propaganda machine, we'd be looking at a historic 50 state landslide with the Dems locked out of a credible run for the next generation.

It'll be intersting, to say the least, to learn how effective modern brainwashing has been on the population.

Yes, massive Democrat Voter Fraud is something we have to fight every year. I'm getting sick of it. I want to see some SOBs thrown in jail over this. Seriously.

If you click on the web addy below the thread title, it is a lot easier to understand.

I have a question for the thread.

A hypothetical question.

If you were a strong bush supporter, and you owned a vacation home in a different state, and you could register to vote in your "second home state" without abandoning your original home state's registration....................

Would you vote twice for bush?

Just wondering...............................

Many FReepers claimed in 2000 that there were between a half-million and a million fraudulent votes cast nation-wide, and that Al Gore didn't even really win the popular vote. I remember some claiming that even without Ralph Nader, GWB still actually would have won the popular vote were there no voter fraud.

At the time, I wrote that if this is true, then the GOP deserves to lose if they didn't put on a major effort over the next four years to combat voter fraud. If they've done anything, I haven't seen it.

The story is told that a top Dem operative bragged to a top GOP operative in 1960 that they would always be able to steal a close election. He was talking about a few hundred or thousand votes here and there -- a Florida-type situation, or one like South Dakota's last Senate race. I have no doubt that had a recount actually proceeded in Florida in 2000, Al Gore would have won that recount. Democrats do cheat.

What is being alleged here on FR, though, is something on a much more massive scale. If it is true, then we must pray that this isn't a close election (I don't think it will be), because I've heard of nothing having been done to combat voter fraud. You know how I know it hasn't been done? I haven't heard the Dems screaming...

Philly had 900,000 votes cast out of a total population of 1,300,000 (according to 2000 census). That's a helluva turnout

then the double voters will get criminal history as felons and in the future should not be able to vote at all.

Over 30 states allow felons to regain voting rights after completion of sentence.

The hypothetical question is............

Would YOU?

Is assuring the victory of george bush over john kerry that important to you?

Are the thoughts of the ramifications of a kerry presidency so repulsive that you'd be willing to "bend" the rules, just this once?

It's just one vote, quite insignificant really, and your vacation home is in Florida, a battle ground state............would you?

Everyday here on FreeRepublic we are all reminded that this is the most important election in anyone's lifetime, right?

So...........................................

A national standard for voting registration databases, which will allow a cross check between state databases after voter registration closes.

States stay in control, database records with problems such as double registration are investigated and reconciled. The press can monitor the process, it can be completely open.

There is a way to do it now, but most conservatives would not be inclined to support it.

"Would you vote twice for bush"

With the amount of outright fraud that was committed in 2000, and what is likely to be this year by the socialist party. YES (if I knew I could get by with it)

Problem is, the state I live in is solidly Bush. The same goes for most states I'd have a vacation home in
