Kerry Caught in another Whopper. "Biographer disputes Kerry Claim."

The answers to all the questions raised by critics of John Kerry could probably be answered by the large archive of documents he keeps in his home.
Douglas Brinkley, the 43-year-old author who wrote "Tour of Duty," the biographical account of Kerry's time in Vietnam, described it this way: "I'm talking a massive archive. I had to sit in his house, with this woman watching me, and go through the collection 12-page letters, notebooks, journals. I made three different trips, and stayed there for days."
Brinkley is the only one who's been allowed to handle this extensive resource. Indeed, the Kerry campaign has refused to release his personal Vietnam archive, including his journals and letters, to other journalists, saying the candidate is contractually bound to give Brinkley exclusive access.
But Brinkley disputed this to the Washington Post yesterday, saying the papers belong to Kerry and are under his full control.
"I don't mind if John Kerry shows anybody anything," he said. "If he wants to let anybody in, that's his business. Go bug John Kerry, and leave me alone," Brinkley said.

Kerry is apparently totally in love with himself. Who keeps journals and letters of that magnitude?

And we laughed at Bob Graham being so anal about his diaries. Now we find that Jacquestrap has been writing his history since his early days.
Jacquestrap is more interested in getting INTO history than being President. He has done relatively little during 4 Senatorial terms. His Vietnam record, which he intially ran on, is crumbling under scrutiny. If he did get elected President, he probably would accomplish little more than he did in his previous 40 some adult years; but, at least, it would get him mention among the other 43 who have served as President.
The only thing left is to try to get elected President. Otherwise, Kerry becomes just a footnote in history.

> Brinkley seems a bit agitated.
He dug this hole. He could have avoided it by making even
a feeble attempt to contact O'Niell and some other Swifties.
I have to wonder how many "historians" Kerry had to go
through to find one this careless and corrupt. And then
wonder what Kerry told Brinkley to convince him that the
two of them could pull off the fraud.
"See these medals, Brinkley.
Every one of them is based on fraud.
My whole career is based on fraud.
We can DO this, and get away with it.
By the way,
do you want the job of running the Smithsonian?"

Who keeps journals and letters of that magnitude? Someone who thinks he is destined to be the President of The United States.

I pray to GOD that kerry brings suit against John O'Niell/SBVT.....Brinkley and these documents would be subpoenaed immediately.
To: NavVet
Simple!
Here's one Presidential historian who does not, himself, want to be discredited by history. That's what he risks if he is on Kerry's bandwagon.
History will, of course, reach judgment on the actions of both Kerry and Bush, as well as the Clintons, as it is related to their actions to preserve or destroy the liberty of this nation.
Contemporary historians who jump on the wrong bandwagon will be seen by future generations as either being wise or as being manipulated. Brinkley is beginning to see the light of reality, IMHO.
