For argument's sake, lets just pretend that you are absolutely correct above. If so, the easy way to handle cutting off all illegal immigration (that's economically driven, at least), is to say that any illegal alien who applies for SS has to identify his current and former employers in the U.S.

There is no "for argument's sake".

The Jorge Arbusto Administración has already signed this agreement. It is in force.

Millions of Mexican illegal aliens are now eligible to sign up for and receive US taxpayer-paid benefits for work performed in the US while "unauthorized."

All they need to do is provide a W-2 for the time worked and voila! the benefits will be approved and they will start receiving SSI checks.

At home.

In Mexico.

Gee, would that be the legal form that shows (along with dependent deductions) the *employer* in the U.S.?!

1. How many illegal aliens have W-2 forms, and
2. Don't we *want* to track down and confiscate back taxes from such employers if and when they are ever identified?!
