Put a fork in Monsieur Kerry. He's Done.

Here it is two months before the election and there's not much to look forward to. That's because Kerry's campaign is collapsing faster than the Cubs do every year. Absent a colossal Bush blunder, it's all over except for the finger pointing.

The controversy generated by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth has had significant impact. Questions about Kerry's Christmas in Cambodia, and whether one of his Purple Heart wounds was self-inflicted didn't boost his electibility.

Look back, however, and we can see how Fere Jacques' rendezvous with failure has been developing. There have been and continue to be signs of imminent disaster.

If the Republicans start believeing that Kerry is toast, we are going to be very disappointed.

We have to carry on as if Bush is behind just as he was weeks ago.

Complacency kills.

Yep, the opposition to President Bush is pure hatred. That opposition never equated to Kerry support. Heck, their biggest slogan, as we all know, is Anyone But Bush.

Can't let up on them, or believe we have it made.

Polling is still too close in many states.

One significant screw-up by either candidate can sway the election. It is far from over, yet.

"We have to carry on as if Bush is behind just as he was weeks ago."

Actually, we need to maximize the vote to landslide proportions that the 'rats will never again run a pinko commie lying bedwetter like sKerry.

Blessings, Bobo

This campaign is far from over.

Conventional wisdom says, a majority of undecided voters break for the challenger in the closing days of the election.

Former Gov William Weld says don't underestimate John Kerry. He's a good debater and a strong finisher.

The election remains very close and right now the last thing the Bush campaign team wants to see are people getting overconfident.

There will be plenty of time to celebrate AFTER we win this election.

He cannot be allowed to implode too quickly, otherwise Hillary comes to the rescue. And if the thought of Kerry becoming president scares you, this one might cause you to eat your gun.

Rasmussen shows both at 47%.

Don't forget that about half of America is brain-dead, having voted for Klintoon and AlBore.

While I agree things are certainly looking up, it's too early to say it's over. Kerry was virtually dead in the primary campaign yet rallied. Kerry was virtually beaten by Weld in 1996 yet rallied to win. To get back to baseball analogies, it's never over till it's over!

If the Republicans start believeing that Kerry is toast, we are going to be very disappointed.

Worse, if Kerry pulls a tearful Gary Hart moment (oh, around October 5th) and there is a major terrorist attack, Hillary will run and could win. She'd cite open borders and poor protection of the homeland chasing after Saddam to satisfy a personal vendetta (giving her an excuse for crushing civil liberties if she won). The media noise would be so loud there would be no opportunity to remind a vulnerable public of her record or where she stands.

Don't think for a minute that it is beyond the Democrats to go behind closed doors to replace that silly chump Kerry with their dream candidate. She has the money and is ready to go. Clinton people are pre-positioned in Kerry's campaign. The transition to the Hildabeast would be virtually seamless. If Kerry makes it to the finish line despite the Clinton sabotage, she still has her options open for 2008.

I agree with you. Kerry is going to put out $45 million dollars worth of new ads next week. We have to be vigilent and make sure Bush gets elected. We can't let our guard down for one minute!

I'm not being complacent Maceman. It energizes the troops, makes the opponent do stupid things, it depresses the vote for Kerry and besides, no one on the Right is going to take this anyway but serious after Algore.

A couple gems from this: ...the truth is that the more people know about John Kerry, the less they like him. This generally isn't considered a big plus for political candidates.

Adding to the candidate's headaches is his extraordinary lack of warmth. If he's got a personality, he's holding back on it for an October surprise.

Love the understatement.

The old saying "It isn't over until the fat lady sings" really fits here. We should keep at em until the election, and even after that because remember what they did in 2000?? If they lose, and they will, lawyers and all...to try and say there was election fraud and all the rest. THere were more than eight states close in the 2000 election and I think the DNC stole votes in all of those states. I work elections in my state and I saw them at work here. If that doesn't work, the DNC already has plans to try and impeach President Bush when he wins. They will use Abu Ghriab prison garbage as their reason.

I still believe that Kerry sold his soul to Hillary for the Secretary of State job.

I still believe that Edwards sold his soul to Hillary for the Attorney General Job.

I still believe that Wes Clark sold his soul to Hillary for the Secretary of Defense Job.

I still believe that Terry McAuliffe sold his soul to Hillary for the Chief of Staff position.

We may still wake up on November 3 and find out that the entire dynamic of this country has changed.

Let's pray it doesn't. Register two friends to vote.
