Don't think the GOP will drop the bomb, more likely from the SBVT. The SBVT and other vets orgs are taking care of old business from 72 and before.
The GOP is taking care of more recent issues, such as Kerry's voting record.
Pretty much two different audiences.

I don't think so. Even McCain has said publicly that Kerry's actions after he returned from Vietnam were fair game. The fact that Newt brought this up indicates to me that the GOP will take this issue up.. Cheney hinted at it also in his speech. I would really be disappointed if the RNC did not hammer Kerry on this. It is relevant today vis a vis Kerry's policy on Iraq.

Exactly. They wouldn't venture into this territory since the Swiftvets are already taking care of it. They have ample ammunition with Kerry's 18 years in the senate.
