Note: I found this gem on the Winter Soldier site. This is staggering. The comment came just before the fateful meeting of Nov. 12-15, 1971 in Kansas City where the upper echelon of the VVAW discussed and voted on whether to assassinate seven U.S. Senators.

The political power structure within the United States can and must change if the nation is to avoid violent efforts to seize power. John F. Kerry, a member of the executive committee of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War, said in Oklahoma City Saturday.
Meeting with reporters before speaking at the University of Oklahoma, Kerry said, "If it (the government) doesn't change we are asking for trouble. If it is not done, those who are talking about seizing it will have every right to go after it."
Kerry emphasized that he and those he represents are totally opposed to any such violence.
Come now, you know "youthful indiscretions" are to be forgiven. Unless, of course, a Republican candidate makes them.
As far as I'm concerned, the fact that he was even part of a group that considered assasination as a means of change is enough to exclude him from a canidacy.
Yes, Kerry gets a pass on this, and every other treasonous act he has committed, from the leftist media. What else is new? And if it had been a Conservative that said this, it would have been front page headlines for two months.

It looks like they've come close to seizing it too. I really wish some people in the spotlight would start emphasizing that the Republican party has merged with the Democrat party and is still labeled Republican (i.e. all of the south) -- the Democrat party has been overrun by European socialism. If this were Democrats/Republicans vs Socialists I think these Americans in the middle would wake up.
