I just sent the following to the local Russian Consul's office.

To the Russian Government and the Russian people;

As the grandson of two Russian immigrants from what is now the Ukraine, my heart goes out to you in light of the terrorist killings in the Beslan school. I pray for those students who were hurt and for the families of all who were taken hostage.

I was in New York City two months to the day after the terrorists destroyed the Twin Tower Buildings in New York. I attended Mass that day at Saint Patrick's church in New York City and heard prayers for the missing from the parish and for those who were known to be dead. I took a subway down to "ground zero" and the experience changed me. After that, I have no qualms about my government killing terrorists where ever they may be found or about invading any country that shelters and protects terrorists.

I pray for those families in the city of Beslan and I also pray for the Russian troops (and their families) that will be sent to track down those who sent these terrorists to Beslan. God's speed to your soldiers on their mission.

One thing about the Ruskies... they will get the job done but they make a big mess.

I personally would like to see the perps beheaded and their heads stuck on poles after incidents like this.

It provides comfort tor the populace and a warning to all who partake in this venue.

It is a time-honored practice afterall!

Don`t get me wrong, I think this is an atrocity, but there is a thread on how the Chicoms now have a fighter and missiles that are the rival of US weapons systems. The Russians have been their main source of new weapons tech help in this endeavor. Now, aren`t the Chicoms a major source of weapons tech support for many "religion of peace" nations like Iran? Seems like some of those chickens are coming home to roost.
