The GOP launches new gutter attacks against John Kerry - 09/02/2004 17:10

Two weeks ago, Bush made an ambiguous statement, which really said nothing, about the swift boats.org shameless attacks on John Kerry-s war record.

The statement was Bush-s attempt to distance himself from the actions of his attorney and his campaigns high powered advisor that were also connected with swift boats.org. There was also the issue about the $100,000.00 in soft money raised by the swift boat.org, and was given to Bush.

Bush did not really come out and say he distained the ads against John Kerry.

But, the attacks renewed. GOP delegates were seen passing out band-aides with a purple heart printed on them at the GOP convention. Clearly a new mocking gutter level attack on John Kerry-s awards of the Purple Heart given for wounds sustained in a hostile situation.
