THE full horror of the Russian school atrocity began to emerge yesterday as traumatised children told horrific tales of stabbed babies and brutal rapes.
It has also emerged that scores of the 323 who died - including many children - had been shot in the back.
While despairing soldiers and rescue workers moved among the growing pile of body bags, it was revealed that an 18-month-old baby had been repeatedly stabbed by a black-clad terrorist who had run out of ammunition.
Other survivors told how screaming teenage girls were dragged into rooms adjoining the gymnasium where they were being held and raped by their Chechen captors who chillingly made a video film of their appalling exploits
They said children were forced to drink their own urine and eat the petals off the flowers they had brought their teachers after nearly three days without food or water in the stifling hot gym.
Their stories came as Russian officials warned that the final death toll of the siege of Middle School No 1 at Beslan in North Ossetia - in which up to 1,200 people were held captive - was likely to be more than 400.
The official toll yesterday stood at 323 which included 156 children, 10 Russian soldiers and two emergency service workers - 35 of the hostage-takers were also killed. Last night 434 people were being treated in hospital with 247 children and 85 adults in a critical condition.
A Russian official said six seriously injured children had been taken to Moscow for treatment.
"One of them is a child, just 18 months old, with many knife wounds," he said.

Disregard everything else, and what matters except the war on terror? It's amazing that Europe is still playing deaf, dumb, and blind, blaming the victims. Sure, those raped and murdered children...and that poor, 18 month old baby stabbed repeatedly by a monster who ran out of ammunition. Since Kerry thinks France and Germany are where it's at, by Tuesday, he'll be blaming dead children, too.

Our boy F'n made sure he had a video cam with him when he travelled in 1968...what is it with some people that they can remember to get action shots while trampling all over others? His post Viet Nam actions weren't anywhere near as graphic as these terrorists...but the impact on the conclusion of the war and it's horrific aftermath would rival this event in a slightly different way.
Well I can understand the storm coverage...Frances parks over the entire state of florida....sits there barely moving and slowly grinds away! Yeah the winds have died down to 80 or 90 miles in the center but you still have 40 to 70 miles and hour winds 200 miles out from the center or 400 miles in diameter...not to mention the rain. The damage will be widespread and tremendous...damage to crops and citrus trees, flooding, tornado's..ect.
Russia has a horrible problem to deal with and we are with them. But I suspect Florida is going to be a horrible economic basketcase and a potential drain on our economy possibly affecting our elections. It is our most immediate pressing problem next to the war...
And by the way...did you see the reports about hurricane Ivan skulking out in the Atlantic...along the same general track as Frances....?

I have absolutely no doubt that should Christians do anything close to this mainstream media employees would be swarming over every church in America. Where are they?
Oh.. I remember. Within days of 9/11/01 the Society of Professional "Journalists" put out guidelines suggesting that Muslims not be connected to terrorism. Should it be absolutely necessary to include the word "terrorist" in an article that mentions Muslims the "reporter" MUST list Americans' acts of terrorism such as the anti-abortion folks, KKK. . . .

I never read an actual news story about them, just rumors and no specfic victims just "unidentified babies thrown from incubators", etc. This story uses names of real victims and witnesses. I can tell the difference.
PS. some of the stories from Kuwait, rapes, thefts, etc. were real.
