THE full horror of the Russian school atrocity began to emerge yesterday as traumatised children told horrific tales of stabbed babies and brutal rapes.
It has also emerged that scores of the 323 who died - including many children - had been shot in the back.
While despairing soldiers and rescue workers moved among the growing pile of body bags, it was revealed that an 18-month-old baby had been repeatedly stabbed by a black-clad terrorist who had run out of ammunition.
Other survivors told how screaming teenage girls were dragged into rooms adjoining the gymnasium where they were being held and raped by their Chechen captors who chillingly made a video film of their appalling exploits
They said children were forced to drink their own urine and eat the petals off the flowers they had brought their teachers after nearly three days without food or water in the stifling hot gym.
Their stories came as Russian officials warned that the final death toll of the siege of Middle School No 1 at Beslan in North Ossetia - in which up to 1,200 people were held captive - was likely to be more than 400.
The official toll yesterday stood at 323 which included 156 children, 10 Russian soldiers and two emergency service workers - 35 of the hostage-takers were also killed. Last night 434 people were being treated in hospital with 247 children and 85 adults in a critical condition.
A Russian official said six seriously injured children had been taken to Moscow for treatment.
"One of them is a child, just 18 months old, with many knife wounds," he said.

Actually, it seems that this attack was carefully planned and set up for months in advance. Somehow, they managed to secret weapons and ammunition in the school building over the summer, probably while renovations were going on.
I heard that the final firefight ran on for more than 10 hours. That takes an awful lot of ammunition.

Furthermore your smearing of him by quoting his comments, correct and accurate, posting his picture and email address, encouraging people to email him - and suggesting at the same time that these comments had anything to do with Beslan when they were stated in July - will not go unnoticed by God.

There is nothing incorrect about what Bishop Tikhon has said, and I have no doubt that you have taken it out of the context in which it was said.
In your sanctimonious self-glory and self-righteousness, you know nothing about the pain felt by Bishop Tikhon over the events in Russia. We in the Orthodox church have suffered far more over Beslan than the average American. Many of us have been very near to this area and know these people in our hearts. We are strongly tied to those in our church around the world, and these people are our brethren in Christ.
May God forgive you for this entirely unprovoked attack on a good and holy man who has devoted his life to God on this forum.

Was it? "School Number One" on "Comintern (Communist International) Street". It doesn't sound like a Christian school to me. It sounds like a typical government school in Russia. Now it may be that the vast majority of the students and faculty at the school were Christian (Russian Orthodox), but that doesn't make it a Christian school.

WELL DUHHHH! They are European. Muslim Europeans funded by Wahhabi's. One does not have to be black, asian, or semitic to engage in modern day sex slavery. Research the issue before you make a statement like that. If you will remember the Muslims were stopped in that area by the Serbs.
