Reportedly, the first half is harder on conservatives, while the second half absolutely reams the lefties.

I can't wait to see this. Of course sometimes they go a little too far but I generally love the way they expose the hypocrisy of Hollywood.

Well, I'm in my mid-30's but there's no question I'm a South Park Pubbie. I foresee a new song from Parker and Stone: "What would John Kerry do?"

This Movie will be a Huge Hit, and even better it Marginalizes the Left right before the Election.

With respect to Family Guy, it was actually more right than left when Steve Marmel was writing for them. It basically took shots at celebrities in a mostly non-political way, but occasionally veered into politics (Susan Sarandon). Towards the end of its (first) run, with Marmel gone, there was one particularly dreadful episode that slathered on the Bush-bashing. It was a very poor episode creatively and was part of a larger decline of the series.

Fox will be reviving the series, but I suspect they will never get writers like Marmel to make it fun.

I love movies!

But, most of the time, they just flow right through me. I enjoy them, but then they're all gone!! ;-)

I saw the trailer in the theater recently. I almost wet my pants. Didn't, though.

Hey, I like Family Guy. I only remember one big Bush bash, and even it was rather funny.

But, South Park rocks.

I don't care if they skewer conservatives as long as they skewer *everybody* that acts dumb. It's not like liberals have an absolute monopoly on stupidity (although they do own all the high-rent pieces on the board, without question...)

Plus, anybody that will portray Saddam Hussein in bed with Satan has got *a lot* of political capital with me... enough to get away with quite a bit of lampooning of conservatives...
