Al Gore called Bush a "Coward" in a story published today in The New Yorker." Unfortunately we aren't allowed to post stories from The New Yorker here but here is the relevant excerpt:
"But I think his weakness is a moral weakness. I think he is a bully, and, like all bullies, hes a coward when confronted with a force that hes fearful of. His reaction to the extravagant and unbelievably selfish wish list of the wealthy interest groups that put him in the White House is obsequious. The degree of obsequiousness that is involved in saying yes, yes, yes, yes, yes to whatever these people want, no matter the damage and harm done to the nation as a wholethat can come only from genuine moral cowardice. I dont see any other explanation for it, because its not a question of principle. The only common denominator is each of the groups has a lot of money that theyre willing to put in service to his political fortunes and their ferocious and unyielding pursuit of public policies that benefit them at the expense of the nation.
Boy, just imagine what he might've said if the Democratic Party wasn't the party of niceness and politeness? (as per Susan Estrich)
Al who?
What a pathetic loser.
Nah -- he doesn't look bitter or angry to me.
Hey Al, put a sock in it! (and not your Dockers either!)
Who's Al Gore?
Algore is a delusional, mentally ill individual. Thank God he ain't President.
Al Gore continues to show why he was not fit to be elected as the president of the United States.
Al, you know Al, the guy who almost became president;until that pesky little thing from the constitution came up called Electoral College.
Now there is a blowup doll candidate for the gay community in West Hollywood.
I don't know if Al Gore is bitter. I think Al Gore says a lot of things that sound bitter but the root cause of his problem is that walking around all day long hurts with a pair of socks in your shorts since the Rolling Stone cover shoot just hurts like hell.
There sure are alot of failed demcrats out there who claim to know what is best for us.......
The guy who had to get out of Cheney's house!
This past year, Gore has reaffirmed our thankful prayers that it was Bush and not Gore in the White House.
Al....pay your speeding ticket and STFU.
I wish somebody would photoshop a little moustache on his photo.......some hair hanging down over his forehead....
Could we please send Al emails asking him to hit the Kerry Kampaign Trail to reiterate this?
BTW, Al, for a college Prof your first sentence is poorly structured, but then so are you!
AS I've said here many times, I', actuially glad that Clinton wasn't removed fro office. Had, he, then this pathetic excuse of a man, Gore, would be our presdient today..
Algore is the best argument ever for the Electoral College.
