These are the shows on our 'nowatch list'. Left Standing - many references to porn and homosexual references. I remember one episode where a friend of the father said he found out his son was gauy by checking his computer.

Gay sex on the net?

No, I went into his room to check his computer and found him necking with another guy.

Later the same "friend" said "I'm glad I have a normal gay son".

We wrote off two and a half men for the same kind of reasons as we did "Yes Dear" which had an episode where it appeared the lead female was giving oral sex in a hot tub to a neighbor. Even "Everyone Loves Raymond" is going over the top now. And all this was from last season. Can't wait until the next season starts.

Lately, my wife has been getting old reruns from the 60s on dvd from the library. Mister Ed, Andy Griffith, Beverly Hillbillys. Classic stuff.

Oh...they find this stuff on their own and what they hear from their (pardon the expression) friends.

nothing sexual about the Beverly Hillbillies, or Petticoat Junction or Gilligan's Island that's for sure. Unless beautiful women with huge firm breasts, low cut tops and tight pants are sexy.

Dennis Prager had an excellent article about how children are being exploited by liberals

"Regular" television crosses the line so often that they make the Arizona / Mexico border look like the wall in cold war Berlin.

We have a single tape of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory which we watch every single night. Other than that, we don't subject our minds to the devil's box. OK not really, but it is getting pretty bad.

I didn't like Seinfeld. It was a show about people always trying to con other people.

The last episode made good sense to me.

This is one reason I like Stargate so much right now after just discovering it. All of the actors are adults, and there is very little sexual content. Hoping it stays that way. *crosses fingers* It seems the shows with the yuppies or teens have more sexual stuff.

I've never watched Friends as from what I've seen the characters are terminally stupid. I watched about 10 minutes of Nip/Tuck a few weeks ago, but the sexual content was disgusting, so I turned it off!

Last week I was channel surfing and came across Nip/Tuck for the first time. Within 30 seconds, some guy was having very graphic sex with a sex doll. I though I had accidentally ordered HBO. It was unreal.

My dog watches a lot of TV commercials for dog food and treats...now I understand why he's always hungry.

ARGH! That's the episode I saw part of! It made me want to hurl. It's not only disgusting but depressing too, as I caught the part right before then when he was yelling at his ex? estranged? wife on the phone while getting drunk. That show's a loser.

I think Stargate SG1 and Stargate: Atlantis are about the only series that I watch right now. Well, also the occasional house redecorating show or some of the shows on Animal Planet.

The sex on TV is also one of the main problems with the middle east disliking America.

Teenagers who watch a lot of television with sexual content are twice as likely to engage in intercourse than those who watch few such programs, according to a study published on Tuesday.

I could have told them that and saved them a lot of money on that study!
