Good show on Waco and the subsequent hearings now on TRUE network

Sorry for the vanity, but on TRUE network, I think channel 531 on DirecTV, there is a program about the hearings and events surrounding the waco massacre. Chuckie Schumer isn't looking too good right now for his partisan questioning. Basically called a witness a lunatic for considering a flash-bang grenade an actual dangerous weapon (used by ATF)

We apparently don't get that channel.

I was there when all of that happened. I used to have a horse ranch nearby. The place where this all happened isn't actually in Waco - it's about 20 miles North of Waco. For the first few days they wouldn't allow me to go home and I had to stay in a hotel (which they paid for). Then when I did go home I was kept awake by the lights and music that the FEDS were using every night.

One day I saw a pillar of smoke rising into the sky, followed by an almost spontaneous combustion across the entire building. It was the most furious fire I've ever seen. The flames must have been over 100' tall.

I knew several people that died in there, and my cousin and I fished with Koresh in their pond several times. They seemed normal to me. They always told us that the place was for people that needed help or couldn't find work. It was like an apartment complex. Who knows. The fact remains that they were reduced to ashes. Whether those ashes belong to crazed militants that allowed their young girls to be molested by a guy who believed himself to be Jesus isn't for me to say. The first I heard of such things was during the siege.

I dont consider myself an expert on the story, but I've read my share of info and there is no love lost between law enforcement and myself. One of the most profound statements i saw in that show was some LEO (i don't know if FBI, ATF, or other) stated in the congressional hearing that, in essence, that the days of a couple of guys in suits knocking on the door to serve a warrant was over (implying over before the seige began), and that showing up with overwhelming force was a legitimate tactic. Given some of the other stories we have seen in the past years of police tactics of that its better to kill innocents rather than risk the possibility of losing evidence, that certainly has been proven to be the case in the last decade or so. We are all now alleged perps, not citizens with rights. As someone pointed out, that before sentence is passed that we are supposed to have constitutional rights to be followed. I wish i had a copy of this film. It has equalled or bettered anything i've seen on the net over the years. Had documented proof of the FLIR footage, along with 60 minutes copout on showing it after it was clear that their were govt lies being perpetrated.
