It's beyond delicious that Norm occupies Paul Wellstone's old Senate seat.

Kerry believes in 'Two Americas.' (One for each position he takes on any issue.)

Hey, is Paul Wellstone still dead? What's the schedule for this years "Thank God, Wellstone's Still Dead and George Soros Birthday Party Festival?" Kerry first said he's bring the quiche then he said the jello mold then he said the quiche then he said...

I heard an explanation of why Kerry was such a great debater. Apparently, he has the ability to tell huge bald-faced lies with a straight face right in the middle of a debate. This has usually resulted in opponents unable to attack the statements without just calling them lies outright. In past debates, these flagrant lies have caused opponents to try to discuss issues on the made-up terms stated by Kerry. I have heard that Bush has been warned to watch for this on any issue at hand.

Yep. Only his bumper stickers remain.

Great post, and thank God he's got Wellstone's office. CBS news early this morning was explaining and excusing Kerry's flip flops on military funding. Sorry, the voters know Kerry's senate record is abysmal.

Not to change the subject, but does Norm Coleman's name come up on any of those 2008 threads? Maybe too soon for him, but he seems pretty steady (and appealing nationally?). Ok, sorry for going of course here..

That is so funny that you mention Paul Wellstone's bumper stickers! Around where I live they still have his campaign posters in their yards! None, btw, for Kerry.

Not many Kerry signs around here yet, but some "Say No To Bush" signs which remain which went up before the Dems settled on what they considered to be the least insane of the primary candidates still standing.
Also, there's still some "Say Yes To Peace" signs around. Deep, really deep. I'm seeing Bush/Cheney signs in surprising neighborhood locations. As for me, the Veterans For Bush sign's been in my window for quite a while, and of course the yard sign out there too.

I'm glad Coleman's counted toward the Rep. majority in the Senate, but
that's about all.

Actually, the name from MN politics that pops up every now and then as a 2008 Presidential contnder is Governor Tim Pawlenty.
To: RWR8189
It's not a flip flop...it's a nuanced sophisticated position.

They didn't even get that right.

I hope you checked out his voting score, because Norm Coleman is doing a solid 85%. This makes him much closer to a good, solid conservatives like Kit Bond or John Kyl than RINOS like Lincoln Chaffee. How could Minnesota do any better?
