ISLAM: TWO WOMAN BATHE FULL-CLOTHED,LIFEGUARD MAKES THEM LEAVE
(AGI) - Bolzano, Italy, 7 September - Two Muslim women went into a swimming pool fully clothed - wearing a tunic and the veil as their religion demands - to accompany their children as they were bathing. Other swimmers protested to the lifeguard who immediately asked them to get out of the water. This took place at the Lido di Bolzano.
The Council has spoken about 'respect for the rules' and 'health reasons'. The leaders of the Muslim community in Bolzano understand the ban on swimming in a chador, but at the same time have asked for women only pools as there are in Muslim countries.
The two women, accompanied to Bolzano's lido by their children and a man, after having taken the sun while dressed, wanted to refresh themselves. They approached the pool, to follow their children, entered the water and then faced the 'revolt' of a large number of bathers.
"Things like that should no longer happen. There is a rule. One cannot get into the pool while clothed, but only in a swimming costume - argued Giustina Marinucci, Bolzano Council's director of sport. "I respect the Muslim religion, but they need to adapt, as we do when we enter their mosques. There are hygienic reasons for the ban on entering a pool while dressed."
Aboulkheir Breigheche, the head of the Muslim community said: "In Italy it may be necessary to create pools just for men and just for women. They are free not to respect Islam, but the religion permits bathing just in costume only if there are just women present." (AGI)

I am about as liberal as it comes on immigration, but so help me, if it were up to me I would put a stop to immigration from Muslim countries. Until Islam cleans up its act, I don't want any more of it in my country.

In the West we have different rules and customs. We could emulate muslim countries' behavior and have you beaten or jailed for failing to follow them.
In our own countries, these rules and customs are not negotiable.
I think the pool rules of Italy are alot easier to live with than the draconian rules of Saudi Arabia.
If Muslims don't like it they can go back to their sand heaven. I have had enough hearing about their stupid rights.

It's come to the point that only a boatload of airline tickets is going to resolve the Moslem issue in the U.S.
They do not wish to blend into our society. I thought that was a prerequisit to coming here legally.
They need to go home, where their life choices are honored and appreciated. It is not for us to conform to them.

Italy also offers fountains, used here by Anita Ekberg fully clothed, more or less.
Apparently he never heard the saying, "when in Rome....." Maybe this idiot needs to open his own pool for Muslim women....or maybe he AND his women should just get the h**l out and go to one of those lovely Islamic utopias that allows little interaction between men and women.
It is so ironic that the Muslims know this, they count on the essential decency - and welfare benefits - of Westerners, knowing full well they would crack down on any Westerner that tried to shove his beliefs in their faces back in their countries. Trojan horses, will we learn in time? They're trying to start a precursor of Dhimmitude: you will do what we say! We have a right to be here and you'll have to assimilate, not us!

This came up a few years ago in a Chicago suburb at a public, tax-supported municipal pool. Fully clothed people were not even allowed to be on the pool deck. The reason was because full clothing would greatly affect the ability of someone who fell into the pool from swimming and saving themselves. A mother who had no intention of swimming and only wanted to be able to keep a close eye on her kid sued. I don't know what the final disposal of the case was.

Ultra-Orthodox Jews do not allow swimming of men and women together. Their solution was to create private swimming clubs with separate days for men and women.
Jewish Community Centers in some cities (like, where I live) have adopted special days for "men only" "women only" and "mixed" for their swimming pools. It turned out that a lot of non-religious and even non-Jewish women preferred the "women only" days for swimming and gym.
Have you any understanding of how many converts to Islam currently reside in this country? Most of them occurred in prisons, and that is the scariest part. Even more weird is the fact that the United States Government recognized the inmate Muslim population and made special arrangements for them. This has been going on for the past forty years.
I agree. I've posted this sentiment before: Islam has a lot to offer violent prisoners. In exchange for some self-discipline in the name of Islam, they are free, and indeed encouraged, to work out all of their aggressive fantasies on the infidels. My dad used to swim at the Y over sixty years ago, and he said NO TOPS and NO BOTTOMS were the rule.
And I'm sure it's still the rule at the local Y, but for very different reasons.
Cotton clogs swimming pool filters and makes the water murky and nasty. That's why many swimming pools will not allow people to wear cut-off jeans or cotton t-shirts. Lycra, polyester, and nylon are fine. No doubt the maintenance man at this pool had a problem on his hand a few hours later.

Muslims bathe ? Im set aback by this statement i was under the impression that they werent allowed to bathe clothes on or off.

Just yesterday in Canada, our neighbors up north passed laws giving Islamic imams immediate authority over Muslim women - (yes, authortiy) which PREEMPTS CANADIAN LAW in matters regarding Islamic customs.
(Also in Canada, it is against the law for a minister to preach against homosexuality from the pulpit.)
