Why do we as a society shy away from the simple fact that during the period 1962 - ? there were Communist directed operations in the CONUS, that there were traitors in our midst and that very few of them were ever arrested, tried and punished.

Boutique items for the holidays will be available for sale. A many itemed Silent Auction will be held, featuring a weekend down the Jersey shore and other items large and small.

Daniel Ellsberg will speak on "The Iraq Quagmire: Another Vietnam?" His talk will examine the situation he faced in the 1970s with the release of the Pentagon Papers, previously confidential papers circulated within the Pentagon showing the Vietnam War to be unwinnable, despite public statements to the contrary. Releasing the papers came at great risk to himself, but the need for the truth to be told was more important to him. At the Soup Luncheon, Daniel Ellsberg will discuss ways in which today's situation in Iraq parallel those of the Vietnam era.

November 12th will also be the last day of our fabrics collections drive for the people of Afghanistan, so please bring your donations with you.
