Judge Elihu Smails (from "Caddyshack") Buffoon Of The Week Award Winner Named (Hilarious Picture)

Who? Judge Elihu Smails, the character in the film Caddyshack who asks of the obnoxious but lovable Al Czervick (played by Rodney Dangerfield), “good Lord, what has this buffoon done now?”

As a special tribute to Judge Smails, every week we will issue this award to the biggest buffoon of the week … the person who, through his or her actions or public statements, has made a buffoon of themselves and everyone associated with them. We also ask Kerry Crushers to send in your nominations (no limits, so keep them coming). All we ask is that you tell us why you’re nominating the person, and include a link to any relevant stories.

Thanks to all the Kerry Crushers who sent in nominations for this week's award. We should have made the rules clearer - John Kerry is NOT eligible for this award. It would be too easy, and we show his buffoonery on a daily basis. So sorry guys, good idea, just to easy.

But that doesn't mean former failed Democratic Presidential candidates aren't eligible. Good thing - because this week's winner is none other than the psychologically disturbed AL "HE BETRAYED US!!!!" GORE

He is the winner of this week's award by virtue of his "daily-double" of buffoonish statements this week. Not content with having made an utter and complete fool of himself in the last year when he called people like us "Digital Brownshirts" and saying the President "betrayed the country on Iraq,Gore stepped even further over the edge of sanity this week.

First, he claimed that President Bush was a "weak man", a "bully", a "coward" and likened his religion to "fundamentalist Islam". Gee, after hearing all that you would think he enslaved 50 million people instead of freed them, and installed a homicidal madman instead of deposed one.

Not content with that bit of religious bigotry, Gore jumped on remarks made by VP Cheney (correct in our opinion) that a vote for Kerry makes us more susceptible to terrorist attack. Instead of arguing the merits of why Cheney's remark, which he couldn't do credibly, he calls the charges "sleazy" and "despicable". No Al, making false allegations of drug use by the President, and that he was AWOL, is "sleazy" and "despicable". Drawing distinctions on how a President would fight the war on terror is a matter of life or death. It seems the Al Gore's of the world care more about manners than dealing with people that want to kill Americans.

Thanks Al, now go back to the rubber room. Somebody named "Chief" is waiting for you to give him Juicy Fruit.

Past Winners:

Ted "I Killed a Woman Once" Kennedy
Eddie "UN Inspectors in Florida" Bernice Johnson
Kendrick "Johnny Soprano" Meek
Howard "The Terror Alerts Are Political" Dean
Bruce "I'm a Washed Up Bush Hater" Springsteen
Chrissy "I Squat To Pee" Matthews

It's easy to grin, when your ship has come in,
and you have the stock market beat.
But the man worthwhile
is the man who can smile
when his pants are too tight in the seat!

Al Gore is going to go mad, just like Salieri in Amadeus. He is going to go to his grave totally obsessed with the 2000 election.

If Al Gore ever becomes President, he'll likely nuke Florida.

If your mind is in a whirl for this election

Do this process of detection

for a flip-flop named Kerry

it's his wartime query

But with Bush for his integrity gets my selection

I've sentenced boys younger than you to the gas chamber.
I didn't want to do it. I felt I owed it to them.
