Sept. 9, 2004 Questions are being raised about the authenticity of newly discovered documents relating to George W. Bush's service in the National Guard during the Vietnam War.
Marjorie Connell widow of the late Lt. Col. Jerry Killian, the reported author of memos suggesting that Bush did not meet the standards for the Texas Air National Guard questioned whether the documents were real.
"The wording in these documents is very suspect to me," she told ABC News Radio in an exclusive phone interview from her Texas home. She added that she "just can't believe these are his words."

That photo is going to give me nightmares! Eeek!
There is just SO much stuff....I don't even know where to LOOK anymore........LOL.
Did you see she said he does NOT type????
Yeah...can't wait to hear Harkin squirm out of this one...Unfortunatly, he'll just deny what he said and move on to the next talking point.
The question is...will the MSM feel pressure to go harder on the Dems after this?
I'm starting too see the possibility of a brilliant plan to dupe Sandy Berger and reveal a Dem mole in the White House staff. CBS would never suspect that Berger was feeding false information, now would they? HeHeHe - Yeeeesssss!
Either way they're guilty of blatant bias, because even if they were "unwitting" they rushed the story to try and knock the momentum out from under the President as he was pulling ahead in all the polls. No consequence they face could be too severe.
It's about time one of these ne-ked emperors was exposed.
Remember boys & girls - fact checkers are only required for stories about democrats.
What a great quote that the conspirators certainly never intended to be part of this story!!
When I think of the smirking faces of McAuliffe and the other slimers just this morning! Who could have thought this whole thing could have possibly gone this well so fast??
And committed Freepers working through the night when duty called have a great deal to do with it.
Thank you all, My Fellow Americans!
I did myself--and the article just gets even better as it goes along.
So you are party hopping, too??
My goodness but this is fun!
Yes.
My mind is reeling.
I am so glad you noticed this, too. I posted a couple times today about the self-satisfied smiling I saw on several dems today. Richard Goodstein speaking with Shep Smith today was positively beaming as he assured the clueless Smith that Bush was now a proven liar and besides, he was a rich boy who had gotten favors all his privileged life. I wanted to smack his smug face.
More than half a dozen document experts contacted by ABC News said they had doubts about the memos' authenticity.
I am pleased that ABC is reporting this. Since we are familiar with the way MSM works, here is what just occurred to me:
I'll bet ABC set out to debunk the "absurd" notion that these documents were forged, (I was skeptical myself). Once they started contacting experts and one after the other (at least 7, since they note "over half a dozen") informed them of the problems with the documents, ABC really had no choice but to report what they had found. Otherwise ABC ran the risk the experts could eventually reveal they'd been contacted by the ABC reporter and they'd never reported it. In other words, the plain factual existance of the expert opinions being solicited triumphed. I just don't think ABC set out to report it from that angle.
Well, it is good to see that they went with it.
Where's your decency, Kenneth?
Houston ABC 13 just killed this story. They had 2 local experts who said FAKE, no question. Then they interviewed Killian's son at his house. He said FAKE, no question. Also said his dad didn't type and there should have been initials from a typist.
Then they went to the chairman of the Harris Co. Democratic Party. Yes, Democratic! He said BUSH should call for an investigation to get to the bottom of the memo's. That's right - Bush should call for an investigation.
It was great.
Not only that quote, but for the last few days we've been treated to the fresh and handsome face of a young George Bush in the cockpit and in uniform. Contrast that with film of the face and voice of John Kerry betraying his comrades in Senate testimony, with a crooked finger and the smarmy boarding school accent, talking about rape and pillage. You can't buy that stuff.
"MSM devouring each other. Ahhhhh............"
LOL! I just woke up, got a coffee, and heard this news. Wow! What a way to start the day.
"I love the smell of Dems imploding in the morning. It smells like ... victory."
