Rush is reporting that the docs came from the Kerry campaign and that the campaign knew that were fakes.
Rush just gave credit to the "internet" for catching CBS!
Shouldn't he give credit where credit is due? Thanks Al Gore, creator of the internet!!!

At the same time, Terry McAuliffe is asserting that CBS was set-up by Karl Rove. So, here is the DNC saying the docs are forgeries, and CBS is saying teh documents are authentic.
This is really an amazing story.
Uh Dan, neither were the Niger yellowcake docs, that were vetted by the CIA. Eat flaming movable type, Yankee!

If the documents are confirmed as forgeries, then CBS obviously has no legitimate reason to protect their "sources". The public has a right to know EVERYTHING about how they came into possession of the docs. If CBS won't come clean, we need a UK-style investigation (BBC / Lord Hutton / http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/3437315.stm/ ) to determine exactly how forgers attempted to use a major news network to influence an American presidential election.

The American Spectator and others have said that the DNC got these documents 6 weeks ago and gave them to the Kerry camp who gave them to CBS.
There was concern then that the docs were fishy but CBS decided to go with them.
Old Media is so yesterday. So irrelevant. If only they weren't so darned tired they would actually do their jobs.
But since they are tired, Free Republic is here to fill the gap.
Rush said that if the documents are proven to be fake, then Rather and CBS were set up by their friends - the dems and Kerry campaign. They used CBS and Rather to smear Bush with those lies.

These are the same people who STILL THINK that voters give a rat's butt about Vietnam. Vietnam and what happened 30 years ago hurts Kerry, and hurts him badly, but they keep bringing it up.

If they were forgeries... someone other than a dumbass freeper would have figured that out by now. Jesus, we are in the 21st century we don't need some goofy ass freeper to figure out if something is real or not. There are professionals out there that are very good at these things.

Heard that CNN is now investigating and also that the Washington Post demands CBS reveals their source. This is hitting BIG TIME!!!
