Lord, we hold in our thoughts the families of:
John DaLara (NYPD)
and
James Waring (WTC Security)
Lost to us 3 years ago. We remember them and still hold them dear.
Pray for all the families, and hold us close in our persistent grief.
Peace be with us ALL.

Never Forget
We will not falter. We will not fail.

From a Quebec Conservative here I want to re-affirm my sympathy and my thoughts towards those who lost there lives on that day Americans, Canadians and others around the world who were tragically murdered on September 11, 2001. Also towards the loved ones who are grieving.
We are all blessed to have been able to see the heroic efforts of so many people who died trying to help others on that day.
Jesus said that there is no greater love than that of a person who lays down his life for his friend.
We haven't forgotten.
I pray that the Almighty will watch over our Nation and keep us all safe, give our leaders peaceful nights of sleep, and sheild our soldiers everywhere from harm.
I'm convinced that He answers prayer.
When I was a child in the 40s we learned ALL of our national songs. I've always thought it a shame that the most beautiful verses we never sing. So on this occasion let the forgotten third verses speak:
And thus be it ever when free men shall stand
Between their loved homes & the war's desolation;
Blessed with victory & peace, may this heaven-rescued land
Praise the Power that has made & preserved us a nation;
Then conquer we must when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto, "In God is our trust"':
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free & the home of the brave.
O beautiful for heroes proved in liberating strife;
Who more than self their country loved,
And mercy more than life;
America, America, God mend thine every flaw;
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law.
He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment seat;
O be swift my soul to answer Him, be jubilant, my feet;
Our God is marching on.
Let music swell the breeze and ring from all the trees
Sweet freedom's song;
Let mortal tongues awake,
Let all that breathe partake,
Let rocks their silence break,
The sound prolong.
