Documents Reported as Fake on Hong Kong News (Chinese Language Station)
Hong Kong Television News | September 10, 2004 | Hong Kong News

Well, CBS might be sticking to "its" story, but the rest of the world is not buying it. I was just watching the Chinese language news out of Hong Kong and their reporting is that the CBS "national guard documents" are fake.

They also reported that if the Kerry campaign is connected to the fake documents it will make Kerry's party look very bad and it will help Bush.

Sorry for the short account but as these TV news reports go you get about three sentences in a story. I'll add my commentary that this is just so incredible that (1) someone would try and pull a stunt like this and that (2) CBS in the face of a mountain of evidence is sticking by its story.

what's even more incredible is that terry mcawful is saying these were karl rove plants to discredit the DNC - which essentially means he's calling dan rather a liar by saying these documents ARE forged.

They're taking a page right out of the Clinton playbook and are hoping that if they stick by their story and deny, deny, deny, they can weather the storm.

This HAS to be kept alive throughout the weekend. The guilty parties probably think that by Monday, it will be forgotten. We can't let that happen -

Arrogance, thy name is (fill in the blanks).

True. one could follow the logic.More important to the dems and press on this anniversary is slamming our President instead of honoring our dead.

The legal defense once the forgery perp is caught:

"I didn't forge these documents for John Kerry -- and even if I did, Karl Rove was controlling my mind and body through a CIA implant."

Well, Kerry has making the argument for some time now that anyone who criticized his Vietnam record was ultimately working for Bush, so it seems it will be very hard for Kerry to shake the notion that he is ultimately to blame for these forgeries...

No way this story dies on Monday. Hurricanes, quakes and murders will share the front page with this one for some time.

Myself, I've been hearing all afternoon and night, that if the documents are proven fake, that it will be the end of the DNC, as we all know it.

Don't fret! When Bush gets this hollow shell off a man in a direct debate he'll take his fancy doublespeak and strangle him with it!

Kerry is a vessel of liberal democrat hate for Bush. The majority of this country doesn't hate Bush but aren't delving far enough into the issues to know that Kerry is an empty, opportunist suit.

Bush has facts and Kerry has empty rhetoric. Bush is like a favorite uncle and Kerry's an effeminate Ice cream cone that's been in the hot sun for way too long! He will melt under the pressure of truth and Bush's decency! The dems should've gone with Gephardt! He would've lost by a lot less then Kerry the chump. If anyone on November 3rd sees Johnny and Tareeza in a running car with a rag up the tailpipe, don't call the cops, throw a tailgate party! Now that's a couple of abortions I would support!

The whole thing is funny in a tragi-comedic way. The left says Bush is too stupid to lead the country, then turns around and claims he's leading up some esoteric conspiracy that the left fell for, i.e., Rove "planting" forged documents showing Bush in a bad light to CBS.

Which way is it? Bush is so stupid he shouldn't be leading the country OR he's "Dr. Evil" who is smart enough to concoct an elaborate scheme that even the ever-so-smart DNC and its operatives fell for? The two are mutually exclusive as far as I can see...but then again, I'm just one of the simple-minded conservative followers of Bush...

To be fair, Dan Rather may not necessarily be a liar. He may simply be wrong.

That being said, he and CBS have to start answering questions and not be dismissive of them.

The Kerry Kamp and the progressive/postmodern liberal "movement" is fond of portraying election 2004 in terms of "regime change." In my opinion "regime change" could very well mean the complete abolition of the Democratic Party and not the "no more years for Bush." that they so fervently desire.

The DHIMMICRATS, DUMMYCRATS, DEMONRATS, LYING JACKASSES, GIRLIE MEN'S PARTY, etc. bristle at the abuse being heaped upon their "venerable" political party. Well, it is no longer deserving of one iota of respect. They have chosen to become more and more the party of the extreme left, to allow the extreme left to define and to ride rough-shod over their agenda and priorities. REGIME CHANGE REQUIRES THE ABOLITION OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

Conservatives have had, for a very long time now, the common sense to separate themselves completely, definitively and eloquently from the extreme right, e.g., neo-Nazis and white supremacists/separatists, despite the liberal attempts to lump conservatives and neo-Nazis, etc. into one boat. "There are far rightists, extreme rightists, and lunatic rightists, but no centrist or rational rightists," as a liberal "friend" tried to convince me, to no avail. But when I pointed out the political and philosophical studies that offer definitive proof of the common origins of communism, fascism and socialism, and their penchant for sophisticated propaganda, ideological legerdemain and emotional appeal that captivates the imagination even of the most intelligent liberals, he almost had a stroke. Michael Moore, Dan Rather, and their ilk warm the hearts of "intelligent" liberals even as Leni Riefenstahl portrayed Nazi Germany in grandiose terms in the earliest days of film and documentary. REGIME CHANGE REQUIRES THE ABOLITION OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY - either that, or let them once and for all get their act together by expelling the vermin in their midst!

You said it, perfectly. Exactly. My hat's off to you, I shake your hand, if figuratively.
I've been in the deep inner-sanctums of both parties, through forums and blogs and websites and about two months ago, it came to me. All of the people agonizing from both sides over what to do, what to do, our gov. is failing us or not our own anymore, so that I realized that knowing there will never be an Indie or outside campaigner winning the top offices, and my second thought, having an underground we keep secret from our parties, and surprising them suddenly on Nov. 2nd. -- none of which would work. That leaves the suddenly, surprisingly, intelligent solution. Get rid of the democrat party entoto. Then, the remaining party, our republicans will be in office -- but -- they will have to know what will happen if they screw up. Another kinder, gentler, more decent, pro-American Democrat party could come in later. As a counterweight. Maybe.
