You guys are deliberately and willingly allowing our country to be destroyed from the inside. Disgusting.

This has become all too clear.

Beyond disgusting.

That is so wrong! I am from California and I remember when illegals were rounded up and sent back. YOu start by going to placed where they congregate to get day work. I have been ticked about this one for a long time because in our town they built a special place for the guys to stand! They added cobblestone to the streets, rest rooms and cooking facilities, lines to stand in to que up in a more "fair" way! And this is for illegals! It sickens me!

We're busy doing that here in my state, too.

Places like Home Depot= Illegal aliens lounges...The pandering to these criminals is disturbing.

Since the government now picks and chooses which laws they enforce, I guess it's OK for us to pick and choose which laws we obey.

It's just wrong! You know, truth be known, I know some people who have come here illegally. I feel sorry for them and wish there was a way they could come here legally....some of them! But the fact is it is illegal and we have no control over our borders. That is simply wrong! Until we have respect for our own laws, why should anyone else?

Well, that's why the founders knew that the judges should not be making the laws! And the problem is that they have been doing exactly that! I get so ticked off about this stuff! Type-A personality here! LOL.

You just said what I've been saying for months! If our elected officials are going to insist we need the workers and can't inquire as to their eligibility to work, must provide education K thru 12, should give them in-state tuition breaks, grant them driver's licenses, accept Matricula Consular cards as valid ID, cannot refuse emergency room medical care, can't enforce housing overcrowding violations, invoke sanctuary laws in towns and cities where there is a large immigrant population, can't inquire if people are legally eligible to vote, can't arrest them for being here illegally even if they are arrested for something else, how about a list of laws regular citizens can break without fear of prosecution.

Nobody needs to round up anybody, except perhaps the business owners who are failing to provide the infrastructure to pay for their cheep labor. The IRS has no problem going after business who don’t pay taxes, so why cant these same lawyers go after these business who are hiring slave laborers and fine the business the costs incurred on the rest of us to our health care, and social services from the added burden of their work force?

These people would leave if the IRS came after them too, the 50% or more of illegals that don’t pay income tax. If illegal immigrants were fined or jailed like the rest of us for forging Ids, job applications or failing to submit to the IRS, many would just go elsewhere in the third world where this is the normal mode of business, just like they want.

Furthermore, illegal immigrants would leave if word got out that some of them were being hauled into jail for driving without insurance, like the rest of us, or if their young men were made to register for the selective services, like the rest of us. These people would leave if they knew that they could be deported for committing crimes, or ending up in jail for life, like the rest of us would in their country. Illegal immigrants came here on their own free will and they would leave on their own free will if we stopped offering them bank accounts, drivers licenses, healthcare, food stamps, education, in state tuition ect..

This isn’t Nazi Germany , we don’t need rail cars, this is the USA , nation of laws and order, we just need to enforce the law we have equally and our politicians need to be reminded of this next time they see an opportunity to plagiarize, and look the other way at law breakers while hiding behind a race card for couple of votes!

I suggest we start with our taxes. You know, the taxes that pay for the incomes and pensions of these politicians, and the taxes that are taken from us to pay for their good friends, the illegals.

Apologies to all.

I ran "Asa Hutchinson" on the search engine before posting but obviously that is not a foolproof (a well-phrased term) check for this type of problem.

Thanks for the links.

"If we're to have a border czar let's get one with a spine."

First, we'd have to elect a president "with a spine."

Has Bush ever nominated anyone to any position at any level of government that had a spine? Maybe Rumsfeld?

He put a spineless, do-nothing, pro-illegal immigration, pro-open borders, Libertarian, James Ziglar, in charge of the INS at the beginning of his administration.

It's been all downhill from there on out.

If the Feds can't stomach it, State and local jurisdictions should be so empowered. It is they who must bear the burden of social service spending.

BTW, just wanted to add I completely agree with you.

My guess is the vast majority of Americans do not agree with this idiot "border czar".

And welcome to Free Republic! :-)

I live in Orange County, CA. On my way to work every day I see about 50-60 guys standing outside the Home Depot waiting for work. I would wager that at least 110% of them are illegals. They've completely taken over that part of the block. If those were Hookers looking for work instead of illegals, there would be all kinds of cops there filling up the paddy wagons. Why aren't they enforcing ALL the laws? What's the difference between an illegal and a hooker?

Thanks. IMO, the border issue is totally out of control and I'm not happy with my President's position on this issue.

"send employers who hire illegals to jail "

Why put the responsibility of law enforcement on private business?

Employers are already suffering from too many government regulations.

By the way, conservatives don't hate employers, that's labor unions and Buchanan.
