I don't think North Korea has any trees left to start a forest fire. They've been cutting down their forests for years so they could trade the wood for food with China.

Let us hope and pray that GW and his aides are raising glasses to toast the brave people who made this happen. Sabotage, if true, allows us to keep up the polite fiction that we're negotiating or willing to do so. If we'd just dropped bombs or missiles on NK, well, that's the last option. This is much better. Another notch on GW's gun, and that's what counts. Kerry, Mad Maddie, et. al, (Rather), are busy chewing their respective carpets.

Well, that's one explanation. I hope the US official managed to keep a straight face when he said it.

Interesting link, thanks.

Idle speculation, but why would North Korea want nuclear bombs? And they would test one in a country that in area is slightly smaller than Mississippi?

They have much less ariable farm land than South Korea, suffer under one of the world's worst dictorships, there have been many reports of starvation, and yet they can afford a nuclear weapons program? Maybe that's the answer, to take over the rich South Korea, but then that excludes the opinions of all the neighbors.

The ruler, Kim Jong-il is a bizarre character, and his favorite 'consort' just died, which observers feared might upset him. Plus he's always been open to Chinese bribes, so why are thesestories coming out right now? Are the Chinese wagging his tail?

Thanks to the anti Americans, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clintoon and Mad Halfbright, it appears that the NK's have nuclear weapons.
